This is not a medley..it's just an acoustic piece from the album "Whoracle" with some low quality slideshow on it. A Medley is a mix of different songs, with logic transitions as far as possible in tune and beat. BE CAREFUL about saying "I made it", 'cause they could sue your ass as soon as they find out.

Everytime someone says all death metal is noise, point them towards one of In Flames' instrumentals. Growls may take some getting used to but you cannot deny the incredible virtuosity of In Flames and their ability to write the most heartfelt, emotional, moving music around.

There's a difference between, scared of change, and not liking the change. When a band "re-invents" itself like so you will always have people on both side of the fence. Some will like it, some won't.

So there's really nothing to argue, if you like their new content, listen to it, if you don't, then don't listen to it.

No one's truly scared of change; it's simply that this is a different band than when they started. And you could kind of tell that Whoracle-era IF was going to start to deviate; it's part of why Glenn and Johan quit.

Compare it to, say, Dimension Zero, which Glenn was in from '97 to '03, and you can see where the direction shifted. It's quite clear that the newer members have shifted away from more At The Gates style metal and into something... different. It's gonna bug older fans.*shrug*
