I plan on installing a new 2 bedroom/1 bath home (800 sq. ft.) on our land. This will not be until June/July. I would love to help a Hatian family instead of SENDING MONEY! Can you believe the city is going to charge me $23,000.00 in permits and fees? Please. Money is not the solution and neither is government regulations. What IS THE SOLUTION is permiting down to earth people DOING what is right without being monetarily punished in so doing. I will do what I can! God bless those who find a way!

There will be some Cubans that leave back for the Island (mostly the older generation and few younger ones). However, most of us now too many economic ties and made this our permanent home. My children barely speak any Spanish and would probably find the culture much too alienating. I don't think they could live without AC!
You are not going to see my hometown of Miami losing its large Cuban population in any of our lifetimes...we have much too many economic ties to this land now.

I think Hillary still has presidential ambitions. But she is very respectful, and has proven to be an excellent team player in the Obama administration.
I think Biden may be a one-term VP. And I believe Obama may pick her as a running mate (VP) in 2012 to prepare a good candidate when he leaves in 2016.
