u need to use intel software to make the accellerometer to work, mine always working... automaticly.. not depending on baterry or else like u said... it's not the product that has problem.. it's you.. hahaha...

Actually it was the driver like I said. Once CTL finally came out with updates, everything started working fine!

I *believe* this is the NL2, but if memory serves, on the bottom of the computer you'll see one of the listed abbreviations.
