  • The Suit and Bass with Flames can't be beat

  • omfg i just found out reverend horton heat was born in my home town of Corpus Christi Tx.

  • I didnt know that either.. I'm in corpus... GAWD I miss DFW

  • go Dallas go!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucken' Rev rawks, Jimbo totally owns the stand up and the drummer du jour usually jams. seen 'em 2x and totally loved 'em both times. awesome live shows, better than their alboms. I've been a fan since iwas fucken 11 and love them more all the time.

  • their live shows are fucking awesome, the Rev is dead sexy and so is Jimbo, they are way cool, great band, very talented

  • frontman remids me of James Hetfield

  • He's not the frontman

  • love dis guys nd his music!!!!!!! he my dads frand!

  • Video is so cool.

  • First heard of the 'Rev' at my , once - sob, fave bar.....everyone likes to have new people on board, via mainstream or otherwise

  • jojanjaz1 the comment was meant to point out to these people that say this one song out of how many albums is main street or ordinary is rediculous. God forbid if the beatles didn't go to India we would have never had sergent peppers and many other great songs. People need to be less critical of art. Until they can do better they need to get off their soap box.

  • neoshaolin and all you other haters need to get a clue. If you were true rev fans you would ahve commented on this song 11 years ago when it was originally released. Catch up!

  • So someone just discovering them cannot be a "true fan"? OK.

  • neoshaolin just stfu and enjoy the fuken song u hatting deuche

  • I don't totally agree with neoshaolin, but it DOES sound more mainstream. It still fuckin' rocks though....

  • I can't wait to see these guys in concert this week in tahoe!

  • They're going to be at the Stage Coach Music Fest in California this weekend also

  • haahhahaaa ,, you guys don't know the reverend and jimbo , hahahahahaaaaa haven't u ever been able to relate to these lyrics!!!!!!!! if not .....you probalyy will some day .. go buy holy roller , its a gem of lyrics ....

  • The fuck, this is nothing like their usual stuff. They might as well put a giant label on this video that says something like this "This is a giant label who signed a psychobilly band but actually thought we were some alternative shit so they made us play overly distorted to try and go with the times even though we are clearly heavily influenced by rockabilly"

  • This song just has more of the punk aspect of psychobilly.

    ~Blue™

  • uhhh, you do know they are heavily influenced by rock-a-billy right, psychobilly is a really fast, more thrash version of rock-a-billy, and how is this any where near alternative

  • i love this song but i cant find the girl in blue dangit lol i have grown up listening to the rev and him and jimbo are the coolest people they play in my town all the time but i havent seen him lol

  • they put on a GREAT show.. they're coming to my town for new years eve.. oh man oh mann!

  • is that houston or austin?

  • austin

  • i think this song is awsome the Rev is my hero all his songs are about sex drugs and cars i freakin love it! :)

  • Keep doing your own thing reverend and ignor comments about sticking to the same old formula or you will still be playing psycobilly freakout when you are ninety years old.

  • I never saw this video before. Cool. this is one of my favorite tracks off of Space Heater.

The Rev is always in contention for being my favorite band of all time.

  • The video saves the song and not the other way around. The song sucks though for the Rev. Go back to what made you awesome. Psychobilly Freakout and I want my Four hundred Bucks!

  • I dedicate this song to my ex girlfriend...THAT BITCH!

  • maybe you shouldn't have been lying.

  • Me lying? Ha-ha! On the contrary...she was a distrustful cunt.

  • sweet song... love the album too

  • This was the album on the "Sub Pop" label, so it was overly "produced". Still like the album, though.

  • You've got it all wrong. This song was for Interscope records...which is a major label. Sub-Pop isn't a major label. Sub-Pop released "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em" and all that stuff. Sub-Pop was the label that basically put Grunge through to the mainstream in the 90's, but they never really became a major-label. They held their integrity (the most part) to my knowledge.

  • That depends on who you talk to. Jonathon Poneman and the other guy (I can't remember his name right now) used lots of lies to push certain artists. When RHH signed with them they came up with a press kit that said that Jim made his living as a pool-shark prior to becoming successful with the band....which according to him isn't true. They made Tad Doyle dress in flannel to go after the "Grungy lumberjack" image and they made AIC dress up, too. Their integrity is debatable. Fuck it!

  • If it ain't dirty south, if it ain't east coast, if it ain't west coast, if it ain't Seattle grundge... It must be Dallas Rock!!!Go Rev...

  • Come on Guys, we all know this isn't his best work. The Grityness I love was replaced with some generic sound. I mean whats next, a Johnny Bravo song.

  • it's still good tough..

    isn't it?

  • I agree. good song but very modern and clean sounding.

And btw in case you don't know they did make a Johnny Bravo song (but I think you already know)

  • Such a strange sound to the Rev :S

  • The Rev. and his gang are fun to listen to.

  • knuckles the dog:p

  • Awesome!

  • I'm STILL a Sinner after seeing The Reverend Horton Heat!

  • interscope sucks there interscope record was the worst one

  • Overall, you're right, but a select few of the Interscope songs are some of their most kick-ass classics!

  • He doesn't come to the Uk enough.

  • I saw them in Dublin about 7 years ago. These 3 boys have some power on stage, the fuckin` noise alone. Easily one of the best bands I have ever seen live. Come back you bastards!

  • Seeing him for the third time tomorrow night with Hank III and Nashville Pussy. Can't wait!

If you're over 21 and remember too much of a Rev show (or any psycho/rockabilly show, for that matter) you didn't do it right.

  • I was a sinner until I saw The Reverend Horton Heat!

  • Nah nah nah! You became one when you first listened to them!

  • ive seen rev 4 times and damn he gets better every time. nov 4 he comes back my way! cant wait

  • youre a total noob

  • agreed.

  • Do we have to vote about that? We already know that Reverend Wins..

  • yeah i saw them last friday with murder by death (awesome as hell band). My first experience with the rev, I am now turned on to a whole new style of music i love all his stuff such a huge variety he can do. And when they did a cover of an ozzy song (crazy train) I pretty much crapped myself.

  • The Rev rocks, period.

  • Seen them live at least 50 times or more. Great live show they put on!!!

  • Hey Rev- Gotta shotta Jaeger for ya!!

  • anybody know how old he is??

  • I think he's 46

  • I can smell the brimstone burning in hell, and I can hear the wailing from those souls of the damned comming through the strings of that geetar!

  • halleujah!

  • Sweet- Didn't know there were any Rev vids besides Psychobilly Freakout.

  • Great band.. ordinary video

  • Rev. RULES, see him LIVE, it will change your life brother!! Hail Texas!!
