I've never been in the one in Singapore, but I really liked the Bangkok hotel. Next, I want to try the new Peninsula in Tokyo... but I can't afford it. :-(
It was not cheap, but when compared to most 5-star hotels and resorts around the world, it was quite affordable. Firstly, Thailand is quite cheap compared with many vacation destinations; secondly, it was soon after the Typhoon that did so much damage, that places were discounting in order to encourage a great influx of tourist cash.
