Thanks for doing the video, I have to say you look so beautiful with the chop-WOW! So much better. I am scared to chop mine of but I so want to go natural, I love my hair to be healthy and it can only be that way when its natural so I can take care of it properly. I have just taken out a weave with breakage of course. Going to buy some shea butter 2morow and start the process.

Hi Doll...please do tell...what do you use on your hair after the big chop?..it's so pretty!I just did mine on the 11-10-08...I use glycerin water and coconut oil sometimes......Asha

Thanks sweetie :) Well when I did my big chop initially I mainly used the Cantu Leave In Conditioning Cream! It is great and works wonders....it made my coils curly and moisturized my hair as well....and the smell is great as well. Thanks for watching :)

Finally someone who just did the CHOP.I finally did my BIG CHOP July 5th 2008. It was a journey of natural hair since Jan 2008. Luckily I had a wonderful hair sytlist to help me through my transition. My product of choice is Carols Daughter. Love the Tui conditioner hair milk and Blk Vanilla Leave in. I used all 3 daily for a wonderful head of curls. I only shampoo once a week if at all.

I actually did my big chop myself :) I was transitioning for about 4 months before I did it. My natural hair is very curly (i discovered) so those curls you see from my big chop is my natural texture :) Remember, every one has a diff. texture. And your big chop may not look like mine. Product Update: I just went to Sophora and purchased some Carols daughter products that work wonders and smell extravagant!! I purchased tui leave in conditioner spray and Mimosa hair honey! try them..they are great :)

Thanks :) I use Cantu hair shampoo and i LOVE Suave conditioners (they make my hair very soft) Once i wash and condition, i use Cantu leave in conditioning cream. Thats really all to my daily hair routine. I oil my hair often when and if it gets dry with shea butter oil. Umm thats about it really for now :) Thanks for commenting :) Peace.

Well considering its only been 5 months, I am still on a trial and error product phase. I mainly use Cantu products. I shampoo with cantu shea butter shampoo....I use Suave conditioners (coconut) and also Cantu leave in conditioning cream (which is my favorite product) I use shea butter oil and olive oil for sheen and moisture when my hair is dry...For now..thats about it :) B
