if i have an unlocked blackberry with canadian bbm contacts and i put a at&t sim card into it and bbm one of my contacts from the us will that charge either person?

just a quick question, once your bb is unlocked and you go across the border into roaming because the phone is unlocked do you still pay roamin?

@Hockeyguy3231 you can eliminate roaming fees by using prepaid SIM cards. If unlocking alone eliminated roaming fees, it would be 100% illegal! This is a completely legal service because it allows travelers to eliminate roaming fees by using another local prepaid service.

@Amandaonline You should be able to do this without a SIM card as well. it is recommended that you have one though.
