In the very beginning of this audio, there is an obvious sound of a rifle magazine being loaded and the bolt pulled back, etc. Then, the audio is paused before starting back-up. I would think this probably startled the interviewer! ...lol
its the button off the tape rec. pushed out u can hear the reporter gettin up and close to the rec. (ull hear his voice gettin more bass and loud) he opens the tape.rec., change the side of the tape, close and the shits back to continue :P
interesting - he died in 2000 - and in this interview he said that human kind with all our technology seems to be in good shape for the next 100 yrs- i really wish he had lived thru the bush era- what would he have said- would he have anticipated such madness- like sarah palin and glen beck and the teabaggers-

I don't think McKenna would buy into any of the political BS that the media feeds the masses. He would see the positives and negatives of BOTH conservative and liberal ideals. If you think Palin and Beck are the enemy, or even citizens concerned about socialism and higher taxes, yet have no problem with Pelosi, Reid, or even Obama... then you're letting someone else control your brain. Exactly what McKenna advised against.
