That is STILL the COOLEST evidence ever!!!! I think it looks like an inmate walking down the hall, noticing the camera, then running off... not sure why its got the black tarp/blanket/sheet over its head, maybe it was keeping out the cold/rain back when it was alive and it just kept it for the heck of it..? It never turns! It starts in front of the camera and then gets up and runs away. The illusion that it runs towards the camera and then away is them rewinding the video and then playing it again. You can see the dust change directions when they do this. Pay close attention. I fully believe this to be real. Shoes aren't a recent invention. Ghosts could have them too

Since it doesn't look like it turned, it could have been someone running backwards (which would explain why the approach was slower than when it left) then ran forward. If it had ran backwards going towards the camera, it could also explain why it could run while them trying to emulate it didn't work.
Its could be faked but its highly unlikely that T.A.P.S would do that. When the ghost runs toward the camera you can see that it has no face but perhaps its just a shadow. My question is why does the thing run away from the camera?

It was faked. You can see the inside of the cape first of all. Second, just because they couldn't recreate it, doesn't mean it can't be done. The speed of the tape was also fast forwarded when it started running, you can see the dust particles start moving very fast.

No one would run at this speed on that narrow of a walkway in that dark of an area that high with hardly any support in a fullblown covering, this wasn't sped up either, you can't walk that way like that and move like that, and the spots floating around would have been obviously sped up. I've seen it in real life (albeit from another angle) and it looks just like that. Crazy.
I took a tour of the Eastern State Penitentiary right after this episode 1st aired. All sortds of creepy things went on there when the place was open and you get that creepy feeling all throughout the place. They should have stayed there a week or so ... Imagine what they might have turned up!

Woah. That was NOT a sneaker, the "leg" under the "cloak" is the same all the way up. It doesn't look like pants and then feet at the bottom. That doesn't look human. Why would they decide to wear white under a black sheet? There's also a sort of cloud of black around the figure. I think I actually witnessed this in my room last night while trying to go to sleep.

they tried 2 disprove this and failed, as they found it was nearly impossible to run at that speed with a cloak over their heads and then run BACKWARDS with out turning round. ... therefore it is pretty real, they have no idea what the hell it was and can't disprove it, so its damn good evidence!

For me that is not a hoax,it´s genuine until someone has proven the opposite.That is one of the best evidence for ghost,I´ve had seen so far.I mean,why do they should fake it?What where the reason for doing something like that?I think TAPS has a great reputation,why they should damage it themselves?

it's not that they're trying to prove that ghosts AREN'T real, TAPS has to keep a skeptical mind. because sometimes what seems supernatural isn't at all. they can't walk into an assignment and think that something WILL happen, otherwise they're always going to be paranoid and EVERYTHING will seem creepy and supernatural.

I live in Philly and the prision is haunted. There have been a ton of investigations there with a lot of evidence. That cell the thing materialized from is the worst in the prision. They tried to re create it and couldn't. These guys don't mess around. Great show!

loom I have friends taht know the people from TAPS and I have talked to the guy that was on the computer for i littile bit over the pc and i know they are not fakes they are the most respected paranormal investigatoprs around they went through alot of hard work to get to were they are and i know that THEY did not stage this. BUT there is a possibalty some one else did butr TAPS did try to recreate this and couldnt re make it

It was faked. You can see the inside of the cape first of all. Second, just because they couldn't recreate it, doesn't mean it can't be done. The speed of the tape was also fast forwarded when it started running, you can see the dust particles start moving very fast.

It looks more like dust got onto the camera lens itself so it appeard as if something was in the distance when it was only a blurry spot on the lens.

No one would run at this speed on that narrow of a walkway in that dark of an area that high with hardly any support in a fullblown covering, this wasn't sped up either, you can't walk that way like that and move like that, and the spots floating around would have been obviously sped up. I think it's real.

i watch this show very faithfully but i have to say they made a mistake in this. because if you look carefully in the bottom left side of the "vapor" you can see a flash of white which could possibly be a pair of pants. but i'm not totally sure.

ANYTHING can be done on video, through CG, crafty special effects or means that the "ghost hunters" may not have thought of. If you're so quick to use a crappy, low-quality 2-second black and white video alone as proof that spirits live on after death and can actually take on physical, visible form, then you are the definition of gullibility.

I live right around the corner from Eastern State Penitentary and everyone knows about the shadow that is seen running down the cell block at that exact location. And here it is on film.
I've seen it in real life (albeit from another angle) and it looks just like that. Crazy.

I took a tour of the Eastern State Penitentiary right after this episode 1st aired. All sortds of creepy things went on there when the place was open and you get that creepy feeling all throughout the place. They should have stayed there a week or so ... Imagine what they might have turned up!

Taps doesn't even get paid for this, ratings would not matter to them. My sis and I do research, Taps is there to help people who have had their own experiences and are having problems. Anyways, they debunk whats going on 99% of the time, so obviously they wouldn't bother to fake anything, it would be pointless.
