I can do this trick with a cricket bat, it's easy enough with a little bit of practise.

I dont know... this looks kinda fake to me, just because his hands look exactly the same when he releases the bat and his hands move away as when they are coming back. It could be that he just keeps them really steady but that would be way hard because he brings his arms back and normally there is more give when your arms change direction, especially quickly and abruptly like that.
