At one point God made it an abomination for the Israelites consuming certian foods. This no longer applies if you read the New Testament . BUT homosexuality is considered an abomination to God in the OLD & NEW Test...so it applies to this very day.

@AVTPro I don't think sex is equal to love, and with that logic I'd say the ability to have intercourse isn't equal to love either. Love is getting butterflies when you kiss someone, always being there for them, caring about them more than yourself, being able to cry on their shoulder, and wanting to spend the rest of your life with them. Some people form those kinds of relationships with others of the same gender, and love is too special to give up because of a book or biology.
