A turbo is different than a supercharger I never said it wasn't but what I'm saying is a turbo is another form of a supercharger. The supercharger has been out longer than turbos. When they first started making turbos in the 1960s the whole idea came from to make something that was like a supercharger but that didn't run off of a belt to the engine, something that wasn't taking power to make power. And oringinaly turbos were called turbo superchargers

hey man. i know the 3.4L isn't the most gutsy engine cause i have one and it was my first car and its not as speedy as my lt1 trans am, but if u search around on here u can find some fast moving firebirds. u just have to be willing to put in some cash. anyways this car does kick ass. how much did the whole set up cost you?

My car only cost me 1500 but i have put in about 1000 for the rear end and suspension adn what not but last week i jumped a ditch into a barbed wire fence and it riped off my front headlights and side mirror. there were plenty of scratches. I'll probably just buy the headlight conversion kit.
