this would have been great if it was on the salbum ,as a sort of big ending. the only one i dont like on the album is adam in chains, doesnt do anything for me
It's pretty interesting to hear some of the original lyrics of "Shock to the System" before Idol rewrote them to reflect the LA Riots. I kind of wish these made it into the actual song. I prefer them. They're more "cyberpunk"
@SuperBlindGuySteve i actually prefer shock to the system over this one. Shock to the system just has a little more energy than this one. Maybe this was just the demo of what he was thinking and he was going to go back and re-record it with more feeling. neat to hear this though, i knew there was an original version of shock. The CD is badd@ass!
@matrixx29 I was speaking strictly lyrically. Musically, this can't touch Shock to the Sustem whatsoever, though I doubt it was meant to since it's just a throwaway remix track, but still
DIDO man to all the xer's out thear crank it ..... up!!!..... tell your ears bleed !! then crank it some more!! how much just enough to piss off those fuckers in d.c. (the ones who have glued ther lips obamas ass)
Ahead of its time.

Cool track. Cyberpunk had some good moments. It's too bad it wasn't heavier. It would have been big had it had heavier.

Cyberpunk rules, it is so ahead the time it was written. Rock on Billy

Rubbish! So far away from Gen X and 80s Billy Idol anthems. This is AWFUL!

I'd love to have a copy of this track; I'm annoyed that I'm just finding it now when Cyberpunk is my favourite of all of Billy's albums!
