Those applications are the coolest I've ever seen.

The only think that makes the Ice Climbers usless to me is their blizzard attack. It doestn't do much, It barely freezes and it's short range. It also pushes your opponents back unlike Bowser's Fire. That is their only real unusfulness, unless the CP dies.

What about their grab/blizzard combo? Racks up quite a few hits and allows you to hold your opponent for a bit longer.

first of all, blizzard has pretty good range and if anything you don't want it to freeze. If you desync so Nana does it blizzard is great. Nana can also use it for edgeguards.

Do IC players tend to only use one sort of Desynch: I.E. Grab, Spot Dodge, Roll, or do they use them all?

You should be able to use them all for variety's sake. Any time your opponent knows what you're going to do, it's a bad thing. You should be able to comfortably use any desync you might have occasion to use.

you control it, its pretty easy to try it by yourself. the easiest way to break popo's shield is just press r and hold down... nana will just dodge in place until popo's shield breaks.

I did this constantly to learn how to do the nanapult. it's easier to understand the timing on that when you are controlling nana alone.
