@joycapulet I have really short layers throughout, but the layers in the back are shorter than the layers in front. The shortest layer in the back is about even with my cheekbones, and the shortest layer in the front is a few inches past my chin. I hope that helps :)
I absolutely love it! And you definitely make it look so easy! I tried it before and I purchased "setting lotion" (asian hair) and it was soo hard to get the waves to stay in place. What type of gel do you use ... (ie super hold) and what brand do you recommend so that I can make sure gel flaking is minimized? I sooo hope I can do that look! How long did it take you to master it on yourself? Please respond. Thank you so much!
@lisabyx Thank you for the nice comment! I use Ampro Pro Styl Clear Ice Protein Styling Gel. It works really great on my hair, and if its not holding you probably just need to apply more. The only thing is that it will take a bit longer to dry the more you use... but its worth it, and I have never noticed flaking when I use it (but it may be because my hair is blonde). I would say this probably takes 2-3 hours to do including drying time, it just depends on the hair and amount of gel used.
