  • He has a point, why care who wants to wear what, same time look how violent the maldives have become to thier hindu history.

  • Hello,

I was wondering if the burqa carries any sort of political message? Does it imply that the individual is now part of some sort of movement? Why is it that extremist consider the Burqa an obligation (Taliban for example)?

    Thank You

  • With all due respect mr saeed, if you go to classic fiqh manuals, whilst no one suggests its an obligation, the vast majority of the scholars of the madaahibs agree that the niqaab is SUNNAH. It is only a recent innovation, where Muslims have turned into defeatists and have objected to the niqaab totally. There is ample enough evidence out there in the Sunnah and lives of the sahabas that the Niqaab is sunnah. You could have just stopped at it "isn't obligated part". Dont need to downplay it

  • This is not The middle east or another country in reality if i ever go to another country i will respect there beliefs but if you come here to Australia you should respect Australian laws. The two only traditions in Australia that matter the country as a whole is that of the aboriginal and that of the European settlers and decedents. If you live in Australia don't take the country for granted we as Australians are allowed to speak out and criticize anyone we see fit even Islam and Muhammad.
