Same with conquest. Guys who say K/D does not matter at all in BF are retarded because it kind of is important. You're not helping your team if you're suicidal

@Algastar ACTUALLY it doesn't; at least not in Rush. All everybody needs to worry about is killing enemies to GET TO THE OBJECTIVE. K/D is the last thing on my mind when I'm playing. Because the lives reset after you get both of the objectives done. Hell it doesn't matter if you go 3/69. As long as your team gets the shit done it's all good. As far as Conquest goes, pretty much the same thing applies. As long as your team has ALL the bases on lock the other team's lives'll deplete.

@ThaResistance1987 Well I couldn't disagree more. I always try to stay alive as long as I can and stay within 50 feet of the objective so my squad mates can spawn on me, because presence in the enemy area is how you win. And while I stay alive I'm picking off guys then moving to a different spot so they can't find me. And THEN when the area is cleared of enemies I move up and arm the objective. Running straight at the objective in a suicidal fashion is just stupid and not fun at all.

BUTTT (it'sa big butt)--- you can be negative K/D & still come out on top! So WE must understand that K/D is not everything. TEAMWORK is the winner in THIS battlefield, and in L I F E heehaw :D

When is K/D nesesary in this game: Squad deathmatch, conquest (respawn tickets), and attacking in rush (spawn tickets). HOWEVER, it is more important to play the objective of the game, arm MCOMs, capture flags, etc.

Hardscoping? That's called sniping. And yes, it is COMPLETELY FINE to camp, just not for a long time. When playing recon, sit in a high place and spot, spot, spot. After a couple of minutes, shoot one or two enemies, then haul ass outta there! Repeat at the next location. The recon guy is the person who sees everything, and relays that back to his team. NEVER just stay in one place and shoot. Not only will you die, your team will lose because you didn't SPOT. Hide, spot, shoot, move. Good luck.

@JKendrickProductions A helpful recon is a aggressive recon. Play in front of battles. Throw out motion mines. 1 Shot kill with your SV98, or make headshots with the more stealthy VSS.

@sie85 Yes, that is another way to effectively use the recon class. My version is similar to a sniper, while yours is kinda like Spec Ops, especially with the VSS. I'm sure there are lots of other ways to use the recon class; that's what makes this game so awesome!

@Qbopper77 K/D is just a way people measure you're skill level, I have some games were mine absolutely SUCKS xD but normally I can go 30/2 etc. But K/D doesn't really apply at all to a persons skill as a fps gamer, my friend is an AMAZING medic who not only gives me a whole bunch of sniper cover but keeps our entire squad alive. In my opinion hes one of the most experienced players in some games! <3 :D

@MultiSpiT theres no right way to play the game, by camping you get less kills since the maps are big, quickscoping goes back to counter strike, i run around with a sniper and if ur good at being the "agressive recon" your basically have a shot gun in close range and longrange weapon in one, and if you camp most of the match and suck at sniping from a distance ur being a useless player.

Keep killing with one weapon 25 kills bronze star (500 points) 50 kills silver star (1000 points) 75 or 100 kills not totally sure golden star ( 5000 points) you can also get a platinum star I believe its 10 golden stars with 1 weapon

You are not a sniper but a recon, you have motion sensors, mortar or c4. You must to spot enemy, throw motion sensors. Yeah you have a sniper. But most of the time you are a spotter and you can lay ambushes to with c4 and ofcourse a mortar strike.
