  • The stupid....it hurts!!

  • You could make a graph of all the big mistakes God has made since before creation. Start out with a third of Heaven's Angels deciding God wasn't omnipotent and leaving. God creating a world that couldn't exist forever with the intention of creating humans who WOULD live forever. Dinosaurs. Free Will. The Flood (having to wipe out the entire planet and essentially losing his temper over his imperfect creation). Giving only ONE Bible to ONE bloodline of man, in ONE language.

  • ...No. He didn't. End of story.

  • So many problems with this. 1) No evidence of any global flood. 2) No evidence of people with extraordinary lifespans (outside religious texts, and the Bible is not unique in that respect, older religions from that vicinity had ancestors living many thousands of years, with lifespans approaching normal as they got closer to recorded history).

  • @freakyphysicsguy Is it true that fossilised bones are always found in sedimentary rock. Is it true that sedimentary rock is formed due to the action of water.

  • @knowthelight And? Yes, you have stated 2 true things, yet they don't prove your hypothesis that there was a global flood in human history. I'm drinking a Pepsi right now. See, that's also a true thing that doesn't prove diddly squat.

  • LOL

  • I also heard that there was a layer of water around the earth making there be more oxygen for people to live longer, run for longer distances, grow bigger, Etc. And then the water layer was gone after the flood. What do you think of that?

  • I have also heard other preachers say what Mr Pearl just said but in addition to that some have said that after the flood the vegetation was ruined so they did not have it to eat so they began eating meat which is said to be uncommon before the flood. I know eating meat IS NOT a sin but eating to much of it is not healthy.

  • So I can see some truth in that since we can see the sudden deline in years lived with Noahs sons compared to the years people lived before the flood when eating meat was not that common.

  • In addition, didn't the Lord say in Genesis 6:3 that the days of man would be shortened to 120 years?
