  • Where can i find a recruiter like this?? !! i am in the same situation like this guy with missing a 1 credit.. and i just want to ship out already !! GRRRR!! , wishing Staff Sgt. Rodriguez was my recruiter right now !

  • omg me and him have the same phone how fucking epic

  • He said he was in Iraq? Where is his Iraq Campaign Medal- Ribbon?

  • He went to Iraq before the Campaign Medals were established. Instead, he has the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal which is what was issued prior to the Campaign Medals.

  • @xGUNxBUNNYx second row all the way to the right...

  • @journey994 Campaign medals are retroactive as per Executive Order 13363 for any service member that served as far back as March 19, 2003- The Liberation of Iraq. I had to know this for my promotion board. I know about the GWTE medal I received that one to prior to the EO.

  • Top harassers!!

  • @guitaristguy20 should have re-enlisted

  • @guitaristguy20 - Does he have any Depleted Urainium DU- 238 poisoning or brain damage. If he did, he has lots of company.

  • @guitaristguy20 ok. maybe he shouldn't have left the military? the military is a job dude. thats like saying "my friend quit his job. now he's unemployed." come on dude

  • Comment removed

  • @guitaristguy20 that's fine too it just sounded like you were blaming the military for him being unemployed, that just sounded unfair to me i'm sorry.

  • Like all salespeople, recruiters are slime. What makes them worse than the average salesperson is that they target the young and impressionable - just like drug dealers.

  • @bowenj10 are you kidding me!? Obviously you have never sold drugs in your life but when you do,people come up to you. You dont have to go up to people. All you gotta do is tell them you have whatever drug your selling, and they come up to you.

  • This is awesome!!!

  • i hate recruiters that do this... it's not your choice, if they want to join then they will join on their own

  • At 32 seconds, wth is that on his bravo shirt, a gold cuff link, is that even authorized? I was in for five years and never seen anyone wear any mess like that.

  • Go now I talked to my recruiter well before I graduated and still didn't leave for parris island till 5 months after graduation

  • I want to join the marines but I still need to graduate...I'm in 12 grade right now...should I go to a recruiter right now or until I graduate

  • @LuisNasty1 you can talk to recruiter ask them about the delayed entry program

  • @LuisNasty1 Talk to a recruiter they'll hook you up with a lot of stuff

  • 1800marines, they will find you

  • @godsmackya. I already did but ghere no marine recruiting station or office appearing. Tnx for answering though..

  • I live in guam and i've been searching the net for a marine recruiting station or just a recruiter. All I see are army, air force and navy. Does anybody know where or how I can contact a marine recruiter? Please guys, really want to join the marines..

  • @warriorharris1208 google map i dont know thier website

  • Ooh-rah

  • @Lousypenguin was watching the vid when your comment came into view outa the corner of my eye. if you dont like em, go to an an anti marine vid and voice your useless ass there

  • @Lousypenguin snipped? nice

  • @Lousypenguin your name says it all you liberal

  • since when does the Marine Corps allow those non-military cuff links on their uniforms? Not when I was in!

  • @jdsusumu Yeah I was wondering about those... I'm gonna look that up.

  • i wish this guy was my recruiter

  • He has a gwote(GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM EXPEDITIONARY MEDAL) which was given before the Iraqi campaign medal. I think they gave the Iraqi campaign medal after 2005. Yut yut.

  • @kingG3III

Dude i know exactly what you mean bro.. I am in DEP aswell and I ship out to MCRD San Deigo January 17th.. and it just seems so far away yet so close.. I am pretty motivated.. I have a good recruiting station who cares about getting us in shape and prepared for boot camp.

  • @Wrangler7559 Yup me too

  • @Wrangler7559 My shipdate is 20120618 to MCRD Parris Island though lol

  • @ICrySemperFi Mine is too lol, but i go to MCRD san diego :\

  • @ICrySemperFi No offense to you, but if you give any military personnel outside of MEPS a date written like they're going to look at you like you've got two heads man. Best of luck to you, Marines are a very proud people and I respect them all.

  • I want to get boot camp over with, but I'm scrawny as hell, so at the same time I don't want to ship out yet.

  • @LastXdeth same man, im 6ft2 145lbs and i want to join haha

  • @ussoldiersm316 I'm 16 and I want to join when I'm outta high school

  • @rumorguy555 same here but im 15

  • @MrChestypuller1775 Awesome(:

  • Loved this kind of recruiter hes way different from my fucking recruiter. Where you from Sergeant? Hope he's from Texas.

  • Wow did he seriously just try to recruit some random dude on the street lmao

  • @MrTaliban97 so then why is ur name mr taliban?

  • i have already sworn in and everything but waiting on a spice wavier dont fuck up in deps im still motivated to go and shit but the anticipation is killing me and i want to leave today already lol

  • Lmao pitbulls brother

  • no offense these marines are criminal murderers because like nam, WWI, WWII, WWIII, waco, oklahoma city, 93 wtc bombings, 7/7, 9/11 is an inside job. deception like the father of lies satan.

thumbs up for the real defenders of liberty.

  • @shnarfers

    Thanks for the laugh.

  • It is ike they are trying to pick 'boys' up, very weird stuff.

  • is this PITBULLS brother lol?

  • I live next to this recruiting office!

  • i would be in the marines.. but i cant do it. im simply not good enough..i cant do pull ups.. im only 150 pounds..... it looks good to be a marine.. but i cant do it..

  • @FadedHolySoldier Don't say that, you can be a Marine if you are really dedicated. Just exercise and you can get in shape. The only thing holding you back is if you can't join do to medical reasons, criminal records, and you aren't dedicated.

  • @FadedHolySoldier If you have the heart and the want to, you can do it. All you have to do is want it bad enough, its not easy thats why it is the Marine Corp. The first thing you have to loose is that negative attitude, that will beat you faster than anything. If you want it take it and there will be many people that will help you and motivate you along the way.

  • @FadedHolySoldier

You can if you want it enough, when I decided the Marines is what I want to do I've been getting myself in shape so I can do pull ups and things. Just work on it and you'll be able to become one.

  • Holy crap! This guy is good!

  • Comment removed

  • I love the comments on how life is in the military and how great recruiters are by people who haven't spent ONE DAY IN THE MILITARY YET. It really is amazing how they think they know more about enlisted life than the personnel who live it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 4-8 years.

  • "potential applicants" thats recruiter talk for saggin pants know nothings who arent going anywhere. the poor whites, blacks, and hispanics. look at the areas recruiting offices are in, not exactly Beverly Hills. I love our military but hate 99% of most recruiters, their CO's, and top brass who lie to make the military corny and cliche. Making it look like a job or welfare program. This isn't job corps kiddies, the organization doesnt exist to give you money for college. They kill.

  • @AroundSun

The recruiting office in my area is in a well-off suburb and *most* of the other guys I know from there wouldn't exactly qualify as "saggin pants know nothings"

  • I am a Poolie in the USMC and my ship date is 20120117 (Jan. 17th 2012).. My recruiter was helpful, no pressure, and I felt like he took care of me. I believe it is wise to be somewhat guarded when it comes to talking to recruiters, but I guarantee that 95% of Marine Recruiters will not give you inaccurate information. I have some videos on my profile about the Process of Enlistment. If you're thinking of joining the USMC then you should watch them.

  • @Wrangler7559 Go in as an officer or your life will consist of filling sandbags and mowing lawns for the next 4-8 years. 9-5 job my ass!!!! Dickhead NCO's who stay in the muilitary too long making you pickup trash all day (police call). Do yourself a favor, BE AN OFFICER or do something else

  • @unclerukus2 why not?

  • @AmericanGMS Unless your recruiter is a jackass and doesn't answer your questions/just wants to get you signed up, you shouldn't be nervous. My recruiter is the most respectable person I've ever met, and he treats each poolie as a Marine, I never feel nervous around him. Odds are yours will be the same, most of that "Recruiters only care about getting you signed up" bullshit is false.

  • im kind of nervous about talking to a recruiter what should i do?

  • @AmericanGMS Recruiters are quite tame compared to a good majority of other enlisted marines you may meet. It is a part of the job. I am not sure about other branches, but the marines aren't just about getting you enlisted. If you sign up and go to boot camp and fail to complete due to injury or otherwise, it counts against the recruiter. The Marines are also not short on people wanting to join.

  • @AmericanGMS run

  • god my recruiter hates his job

  • fuck being a Marine

  • when you see a guy wearing blue pants, a khaki shirt and shiny shoes, you are about to be poached lol

  • seriously, do all meps look the same?

  • haha that girl keep on staring at him @ 3:00 xD

  • could I join the Marines with a broken arm in the past?

  • @123nypd yeah man! just make sure that arm is in good condition like if it can hold on heavy equipment and stuff :D

  • @2012ibmx thanks man.

  • @123nypd i hope that wasnt a serious question

  • @VertSk8er12 nope im asking; NOW ANSWER!!

  • his methods get people in who arent motivated themselves to be a marine

  • military can transform worthless kids into productive men. hell yeah.

  • Did he have a gold cuff button on his bravos? o.O

  • @disguisedfury Yeah I was surprised when I saw it too, turns out Marines rate them when they become SNCOs.

  • We don't accept applications - only commitments.

If I was 18 again and met Sgt Frank Rodriguez, I would be signed up so quick, A real man and a real marine. Semper fi, Sgt. May God bless the United States Marines.

  • im 16 years old, i have no criminal record, im gonna graduate high school, im 15% bodyfat. am i good to join the marine when i graduate?

  • @AmericanGMS I would to depend on what type of school you graduate from and also how well versed you are in math and english.

  • @lorddigga01 oh well my school is one of the best in the state so i guess thats good and i thought they didnt care what your grades are?

  • Fuck this

  • So can this guy actually prove he earned that combat action ribbon? I don't have a combat action ribbon, couldn't care less about ribbons or medals or superpimp cufflings.... but after listening to this kind of bullshit I'm really wondering. I see unit citation awards mixed with personal awards.... no OEF? served in Iraq in gulf war 1 or gulf war 2?

  • @usmcdisabledvet He's the top recruiter in the nation for 2008, I'm sure he has citations for all his awards like most Marines do. The BS flag would've been raised already if it were any other way. OIF (now OND) was Iraq, OEF is Afghanistan.

  • The part where he stops his car and starts this punk 'yo man don't i know you?' make him sound like a phedophile trying to pick up little kiddie. You notice they can't shove their faggy bullshit down an adult's throat? Frickin worthless. You always see these comercials "we don't take applications", so after watching that...... ?

  • @usmcdisabledvet If you're going to work the streets, you got to talk like people do in the streets. If it was up to you, DIs and Terminal Lances would be asking people, telling them it sucks sometimes, applicant says no, all-volunteer military branch becomes way undermanned. Just the way it is.

  • @dustylefou It's undermanned due to lack of leadership. No other reason. What's gonna happen in August if the government shutdown happens? Do you even understand the 15 Trillion cap? That's not intended as an insult, i'm really wondering if you do.

  • @usmcdisabledvet It has nothing to do with "lack of leadership." Most Marines don't want to get out of their comfort zones to be salesmen and want to keep doing their MOS. This may come as a surprise to you, but HRST has been around longer than you've been in.

  • @dustylefou You're assuming way to much. Never did I say If it was up to me, DIs and Terminal Lances would be asking people, telling them it sucks sometimes, applicant says no, all-volunteer military branch becomes way undermanned. Never said that. I'm ending conversation with you at this point before you get yourself into trouble. I can say why I enlisted though, my family has served in our Armed Forces since the revolutionary war. Why did you join? Citizenship? I really hope it wasn't for pay.

  • @usmcdisabledvet It seems to me you're backing out because in the back of your mind you know that you can't speak on behalf of a recruiter because you never were one. But okay.

  • "You wanna talk to the marines?"

    "No."

"Yeah, i didn't think you'd be good enough, the Airforce will be around the corner askin' you the same thing in 2 hours".

  • Anybody find it weird he says he's been to Iraq but doesn't have the OIF ribbon? He has a combat action, maybe he was there before he could rate it or something.

  • is it very tough to enlist in the marines?

  • i wanna be like this leatherneck.... putting in work to the marine corp... look at him... he doesnt put up a fight with a poole... he ask if intrested and leaves....this marine is good to go.... semper fi

  • WOW........ I cant believe my recruiter is here..

    OORAHH

  • why does he have stars on his medals????

  • these are the kinds of recruiters i fucking hate

  • @USAF4L1F3 why????????????????

  • @2012ibmx Because, whenever someone just came up to me like that all like " You think about joining this and that?" and pushy it always drew me away. The feeling of someone coming at you like that trying to get you to make such a big decision spontaneously is too overwhelming and ridiculous in my opinion. That's why I love my recruiter. He says "If you want to join then that's great, if you don't want to then I wish you the best of luck and if you ever become interested just come see me"

  • fucking liar where the fuck is your OIF Ribbon you never been to Iraq at least not in this video

  • Recruiters are full of shit.

  • @usmcdisabledvet why??????

  • if i was a recruiter, id let them come to me, instead of convincing and babying these kids acting all nice and shit thinking the rest of the marine corp is a sweet place to work at.

  • He sounds and looks like PITBULL LMFAO.

  • The whole time I was thinking about that tie.

When I get my bootcamp date, I'm writing my own name on that board.

  • The recruiters always say ``You look familiar, have I seen you before?``

  • fix your frakin tie marine

  • 36 month recruitment tour? damn...

  • @fanuvgod1 Same as a DI tour.

  • @MrMeatballs1945 98% of statistics are made up on the spot. Just another fact.

  • they dont care, cause the applicates they recuit they get paid for, all that matters to them

  • @xxxEmmureOwnxxx ,,,recruiters do not get paid for the number of people they recruit, ill tell ya that right now other wise all marines would wanna become recruiters ha ha, he is a Staff Sgt, and that is an E-6, all E-6's get paid the same nomater what there job is even if they are in iraq getting shot at... they all get the same check at the end of the month..

  • @87pennjustin they get paid if they get the required recruits by the end of the month/season

  • @87pennjustin Actually there is combat pay and special duty pay. At least there was when i was in. As a combat engineer we would get hazardous duty pay for working with explosives even in garrison. Recruiters get special duty pay. You might notice that certain presidents have authorized large influx of immigrants into military service, last one i heard about was over 40,000. Yes folks... they are not Americans and Mexico dissolves their citizenship when they enlist in the Marines....

  • What's up with the gold buttons on the cuffs of his long sleeve khaki shirt??

I don't remember mine having those when I was in the Marine Corps

  • @ghb2513 THERE CUFFLINKS

  • @ghb2513 The way it was explained to me was this (not sure if there is any truth to it). You have to do a 'B' billet in order to get a rocker on your sleeve. 3 ways to do this. 5th phase(sniper school), recruiter duty (3 year pog tour), or become a DI. The guy that told me that said it was unofficial. Personally I think he was full of shit but it's the only answer I'd ever gotten that explained the cuff links. Special duty like recruiting and silent drill team (and band) get special bling crap.

  • @usmcdisabledvet Not entirely true. There are many Staff NCOs that get promoted without having ever completed a 'B' billet (recruiting duty, drill instructor, embassy duty, or combat instructor at MCT/ITB). There are never enough volunteers for recruiting duty, so a screening team called HRST comes around and "voluntell" Marines to do it. Many Marines agree that recruiting duty is the hardest - while you have to be hard for the others, you don't live by a script. Not making mission = bad career.

  • @dustylefou don't know about HRST, only HRT as we 1371's getta blow up doors once in a while. But my point to posting was "ask the real questions 100 times till you get a real answer". Recruiters are full of shit. Most of them know jack and shit beyond keeping their numbers up for their pog job.

  • @usmcdisabledvet As much as you downplay recruiters for being POGs, guess what? Many 03s and other combat arms Marines end up having to hustle numbers too, unless they want to get out or not get that next promotion. It's easy to talk crap on the outside, but when your career depends entirely on whether or not you can get fresh bodies in the Corps, a very important job for the military - it's a whole different world.

  • @dustylefou 1371. You think we don't crunch numbers? You really are a piece of work dude. I was calculating stress loads, demolition charges, running numbers thru my head the entire time I was in. I was a good student. I have college degrees. The Combat Arms mos 1371 requires number crunching, and a lot of it. It may very well be that there are no more competent Engineers by what you just said... when I was in that was a very different story.

  • @usmcdisabledvet I highly doubt the competence of an entire MOS downgraded because you left, but I assure you, persuading people to give 4 years of their youth, if not more, is a skill that most people simply don't have. Again I think you severly underestimate the importance and hard work of a recruiter simply because he isn't down range, where he probably was before going on recruiting duty anyway.

  • @dustylefou You excel at being a moronic troll dude. Never did I say an entire MOS downgraded because I left. If that's truly the limits of your reading comprehension, all I can say is ... FAIL!

  • @usmcdisabledvet No, I'm not a troll just because I disagree with you as you post wrong information. If you can't discuss without resorting to personal insults, then you shouldn't argue at all.

  • Recruiters are unique in the way that they get to live and work in the civilian world while still wearing the uniform. It can be a difficult temptation to get "detached" from the normal day-to-day stuff of their respective branch.

  • I hate all recruiters. They lie all the time.

  • OOHHRRAA

  • my Army recruiter never went to people to recruit them.... they waited until people came to them and he didn't make up any BS.. i did want to be infantry (now 19d) and he told me straight up that it isn't what it seems to be...

  • Every branch ive been to see the recruiters are dicks, but thank god my marine recruiter is pretty cool lol the others.....not so much :-P

  • join the airforce

  • marines are fucking badass

  • @sneekpeekz Army Infantrymen are even more BADASS

  • much nicer then my recruiter

  • @thereddog223 im only 14 and planning on joining the marines its been my dream to be one hopefully my mind doesnt change but i talked to my local recruiter for a school project, he is awesome he said that to come in every year to do a check up and i work out with him occasionly its awesome

  • I wish you luck Im trying for army

  • @thereddog223 o thanks man u to

  • Thank you

  • @thereddog223 speaking from 4 years of experience... join the chair force or just be smart and goto college.

  • Do you not like the marines?

  • @thereddog223 Nah, i did 4 years in the army infantry. And no, im not a big fan.

  • how come?

  • @ericmck2000 Become an officer in the Marine Corps.

  • @CHRISPYify - I think you will be a brilliant american killer. but by the time you are old enough, the rest of the world will have ensured that american forces don;t leave american soil. the murdering for money needs to end. why would you want be a part of that.

  • @CHRISPYify your just a kid dont ruin your life over that propaganda the Marines feed you..do something else to be proud of please

  • @meneedmoney marine blood in my family since world war 1 i wana be a marine

  • biggest buddy fucker in the country

  • Hes mexican, he came out of my hood damnnnnnnnnn,

  • lol this guy at :30 was like wtf, stranger...

  • By order of Congress its a FAG MILITARY now. Look at those Marine recruiters prowling around towns and cities looking for some "young meat". Once you sign those papers, your behind is THEIRS to do with as they please.

  • god can't wait to get to bootcamp

  • @ranger12392 <------------------- someone doesn't get it yet. Boot camp isn't fun dude. It's lame, boring and weaksauce. You just have to standby and wait for the slackers to drop out there for 3 months before you even start to become a marine. MCT (humps suck, still boring). Then off to tech school (even more boring)... then the fleet (so gay and boring you'll wish you never joined..especially on government shutdowns when you don't get paid and they lie to you about that fact). Slave labor dude

  • Where did you serve (I´m gessing that you´ve been in a war) which one??

  • Anyone know how dangerous Supply jobs are in the Marine Corps?

  • I am an Army Recruiter in Los Angeles and I love these recruiting videos. It shows a little bit how recruiting is and how we feel about our applicants. I am exceptionally proud when they come back after training and visit. It's a great feeling.

  • haha i talked to a gunny and chief that booth got off recruiter duty. the story they hav hahaha there worst than care salesman but in a good way.

  • being a marine wife, i know how recruiters work, being in the office a lot when my husband was, and they dont lie. they just make it out to be better than it is. they leave out the shitty parts, but what job doesnt? if you know of one let me know. and whats leaving something like being away from family for a month at a time for training compared to the respect you get as being a MARINE? saying you are a marine gets you 20xs more respect than being in the other branches.
