  • Those 40's definitely have some kick, huh? The first time I shot one after getting used to a 9mm, I was thinking, "dang baby, now I know what 'snappy' is all about", LOL. Keep up the good work brother!

  • @GunSmokeGuy Thanks brother! That is the same thing I say! The first shot is always dead on center and then it becomes a crap shoot! Definately need to keep shooting the thing to become one with it! Thanks for watching.

  • Nice! You lovin' the .40??

  • @VeracityNation Hey brother, YES! I switched from 9mm, was a better shot with that. A few hundred more dollars downrange will be beneficial! Thanks for watching man.

  • Right there with you...have the M&P in 9 and 40 (9 just cheaper for practice). Wonderful pistols.

  • @scooter17568 Hey man, thank you for watching and for commenting! It is a sweetie! I was surprised, around here the .40 is about the same price as 9mm. I was reluctant to switch from 9 to 40 for that reason. I am very pleased about that. Another handgun I have on my wish list is the good old classic Dirty Harry S&W 44 Magnum. Those rounds aren't cheap... but when you want a wallop, you sure got one. Peace.

  • Hey bro, don't sweat the 40, it's more trouble than a 45. You'll get the hang of it though. It just takes a little getting used to, keep it up. God bless.

  • @fumasterchu12 Thanks for the encouragement brother, it is appreciated! Peace man!

  • I the gun world people always pick glock, Springfield XD, or the S&W M&P. I fall in the M&P lover category. In fact I just traded my Hk USP compact for an M&P .40. I also have an M&P .45 and my wife carries an M&P .45 compact. If God didn't hurl lightening He'd carry an M&P.

  • @jonlocke83 That is awesome! I agree, "If God couldn't hurl lightning He'd carry an M&P"! I looked at an HK USP and other HK (Love HK) but the cost to love ratio just wasn't there... I am sure happy with mine. Now, if I could only shoot it half way decent!

  • @SurviveToLife I'm sure you are a decent shot. .40s are just tricky to learn. And it's alot easier to master a rifle than a long gun so just keep at it. :)

  • @jonlocke83 Thanks for the encouragement!

  • Those M&Ps have a smooth trigger.

  • @Grubkat Hey Grubkat, you aint a kiddin'! That was the main reason I went with it over the Glock and XDm. The reset is nice on it to, love the trigger. Just wish it would love me :-)

  • Great gun brother. I love my M&P.

  • @MakingMasterClass Thanks man, it sure is a nice gun, I just wish I could shoot it! This was the first time I had the beast out since about eight months... I am already handicapped with it! That just made it worse.

  • Great pistol man. My M&P40 is part of my home defense system.

  • @gunnwild1 Mine too, it is too bad that I am not as accurate with it as I am my AR! Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Good stuff man - glad to see you managed to get out and shoot. Looks mighty cold though - you need the warming barrels of a long gun in such weather.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 Hey brother, it wasn't too cold, for Minnesota... I actually had the long gun with and shot that a bit as well. That barrel got hot! I shot forty-eight rounds of .40 and fifty-seven 5.56mm, good time all in all. Were you able to get out this weekend? Can't help but to keep count. Thanks for watching man!

  • @SurviveToLife Nice, nice. I too keep stringent count of rounds through certain firearms (alas, not mine, but rounds I have put through specific club ones). It's best not to add them up at the end though...makes my wallet ache a little! Then again, what better way of spending money than blasting some lead into the sky. Better than burning it, in my book at least.

  • @TheEnglishRedneck45 I concur! You know, I see that count with dollar signs. It is a sad, sad thing but well worth the activity and like you say, far better than starting it on fire, although fires are fun too :-)
