  • The cadenza is to die for - almost literally!

  • It sounds like Minie Mouse on tequila!

  • my cat ran away.

  • @dinak93 lol!

  • I would pay money to see her at Madison Square Garden. Many, many money.

  • @sftrash Man, I can't agree more with you! :)

  • She is laughing at us from the grave. Taint fair!

  • Cosme McMoon is a genius !!!!!

  • How fantastic! singing a duet with the broken record ...! hahaha... outside joke...she is wonderful...she helps us to see how bad we can be ...

  • The Kim Zolciak of the 1900's

  • Y'know here's the thing that I like about Flo, the woman couldn't sing worth a crap. No doubt, but you couldn't tell that. She compared herself to the top divas at her time, according to her, she was the best singer out there and that was her story and she went to her grave believing that. As a singer that has alot more going on than she ever did it makes have more confidence in my vocal ability. Whether I get to the Met or not is a different story. But i'll get somewhere

  • sounds like something came out from the sesame street...just an opinion XD

  • Florence Foster Jenkins mews Strauss :D

  • Coloratura soprano;)

  • No that's passion in music!

  • 13,780 views and no dislikes. I rest my case M'lud.

  • @ChazsmateIII When it's like this you can't dislike anymore...It's to much. Actually you can't even say anything about it...

  • Thanks for correcting me - I found no reason to doubt this information, as I had read it in what I believed to be reliable sources (more than one). Cosme McMoon indeed deserves our admiration in his own right!

  • If I'm ever in a bad mood--I pull out the Flo Jenkins. She was so unapologetic hehehe

  • laughing song is right... ;) what an extraordinary singer!

  • Whos Maria Callas? Whos Montserrat? This woman was a genious... she sang like that and became famous...

  • that ending was totally worth listening through the whole thing... BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!

  • I suppose it is generally known now that Cosme McMoon is the alias of the distinguished pianist and conductor Edwin McArthur, the favorite accompanist of none less than Kirsten Flagstad! He really went to the extremes!

  • @helgeevju From McArhur's bio:" His rumoured identity as Cosmé McMoon, the accompanist for Florence Foster Jenkins, was revealed in a 1991 radio interview.[2] This gossip has been disproved by a number of sources, including Cosmé McMoon's living family and the New York Times's obituaries for both men."

  • Is she laughting or barking? o.O

  • I have never heard her high D desribed as glorious before :D

  • Listen carefully to Cosme McMoon's piano playing. He carefully awaits Mrs. Jenkins's singing of each note before he plays it. He never, ever tries to lead her into a different tempo than the one she chooses. What superb talent, and what immense patience. And what amazing mental earplugs!

  • @amazing763 - I first heard Ms Jenkins on a radio show on the BBC way back when and never thought I'd get to hear a full track from her - she surpasses bad and comes out the other side as fabulously bad!! (It's so bad it's brilliant!!)

RIP Florence... We will never see her like again... except on "X-Factor" or "Pop Idle" or "Britain's Got Talent" or.... well Ok so we will, but she is/was the real MacKoy!

  • @amazing763 MENTAL EARPLUGS, hear hear!!

  • sooooo horrible!!!

    watch?v=-yksqbYMwcc

  • Es una genialidad. DESPUÉS aparecieron las copias de la yenkins. Pero una verdadera artista, realmente exentrica y que solo alguien versado en ópera y música podría disfrutar este humor exquisito y loco.

  • So awesome.

  • superb singer

  • The first time I heard my record of this 25 years ago, I thought it sounded like some old lady singing, but I heard there to be a certain joy of singing coming through. This piece of music is so beautiful, anyway. Now, Florence has become much more famous, with the Broadway production, and all.
