i hate to say it man, but i read that Blezinski is pushing back the release date on Gears 3. he said the next installment will be coming out with the next generation of game systems. so it could be closer to 4 or 5 years til we see the final chapter of Gears. :(

no the next generation is in 4 to 5 years, and GOW 3 is in 2010 and the new generation they might do what halo did (HALO 1 COMBAT EVOULVED, HALO 2, HALO 3, HALO WARS, HALO 3 O.D.S.T and then HALO REACH then sell it as halo is going to. I heard that Activion wants to buy it).

@wood026 Nah they are only a part. There are others that do just as important things. It's shown alot in the comics and novels (like in the comics they show what Jace and his squad delt with in the hollow). The story just focuses on them, they aren't the only ones there and they do end up with the luck to play major roles in the events.

@wood026 i know... in that 1 part of the game where it's just you and dom and you ahve to wait for reinforceents to drill down, all you get is cole and baird... i know, they're basically an army of 4... but you'd think they'd send more people... when he said reinforcements, i thought he'd at least send a whole squad... i mean, you expect ONE squad to kill the locust queen when you have thousands of people right above her waiting to drill down.
