'Use me' or 'Lean on me' both good songs but musically this one has that funky edge

I was in Vietnam when this came out. I was a Crewchief/Doorgunner. I can remember listening to the Dawn Buster in the morning on the radio in my Huey listening to this song. I think it fit. LOL

Not to split hairs or anything, but in the description furnished by rovingeye2 (above) Raymond Jackson is listed as playing the piano and the clarinet. Au contraire...there's no clarinet anywhere on this album. Plenty of CLAVINET, though...that's the twangy-sounding keyboard that gives "Use Me" its distinctive hook. I used to have one on top of my Hammond B-3 back in the day. ;-)
