Absolutely we left early, well I didn't but the people I came with did, and I don't blame them. Our team played poorly, and if they give up with 4 minutes left in the game then I do too. It sends them the message pretty quickly. I know most of these players personally and this is the way to get the point across to them. Yeah we have great fans, and they didn't pay money to see their team fizzle out and quit!
Let me be the first to stop all oSu fan's attacks right in their tracks. First, yes, the same thing does happen at the LNC regardless of whether it's OU up 20, down 20, or tied going into overtime.
With that said, that's a really poor showing by a large section of self proclaimed "great fans" given that it's the last home game of the year, it's senior night, and half your fans are leaving with 4 minutes to go.
I love that we've taken the last two games at "Historic Gallagher-Iba Arena"

The same thing happened at OU senior day a few years ago when we were going down to the wire against Baylor. People just filing out. I was ashamed.
