  • is it legal?

  • how do you alternate sync them?

  • wacker

  • how much were these and how hard were they to install?

  • Would be FAR better if flashing together to make a greater visual impact.

    Four-way flashers are better.

Good that you placed them behind the grill - looks good, still works well and no one will steal them.

  • Where can you get these and how much? My dad owns a trucking company and these would be great for his 2006 Silverado. He has the regular LED low profile amber light on top, but It would be cool to have them in the grille too.

  • @jrodigan5

The lights behind the grill are SoundOff LED3's. You can get them through any SoundOff reseller. Another option is ArkLaMiss Lights 3LED heads. I've got several of those and the quality is top notch. Thanks.

  • Cool, thanks!

  • Take a night view

  • Whats the rules on LED on public vehicles? I'm a volunteer fire fighter and I would like to put red led strobes would i get fined?

  • Check with your officers on that. The laws change from area to area. Most of the lighting laws are going to be part of your state code. Some states are pretty lax and others have very specific law about what, who, where, colors, etc.

  • @StageManRG ohio is awsome on these laws as long as you get your car cleared by the cops to run lights.....and as long as you fallow the red/white/yellow coler for lighting they dont care what you put on or how much as long as its safe lol it rules so many people have christmas trees as cars lol

  • Hmm LED is allowed on public vehicles but its the color. Like here in Sweden the emergentcy vehicles uses Blue/Blue color. So I can get fined by the police if I use Blue flashing lights. But i can have an lamp on the roof only if it cant be connected.

  • It is all up to each individual state and each individual county within that state. Check both before putting light on your vehicle. Most regulate the color of lights you can have for each type of job. If you put the wrong color on your vehicle in some states you get a Class C Felony for impersonation. Some states wont even allow you to put lights on your care even if you never turn them on.

Just be sure and check. Better safe than sorry.

  • No you aren´t allowed to put the blue lights on the roof, the only time it´s allowed is if it´s an old policecar with blue lights already, then it need to be unplugged. But you can have red, green or whatever colour you want.

  • @minijeppe Its different from state to state.

  • your department should have SOP's or SOG's on that subject, and a set requirement for what the firefighters are allowed and not allowed to do.

  • having hte front leds behind the grill looks crap to me but the back looks great

  • Putting the LEDs on the grill looks worse, and it would be very easy for sticky fingers to take them.

  • u have a good point

  • @StageManRG Personally, behind the grill is the most professional way to do it. You definitely did 'em right.

  • i got the LED3's in my grille. 2 red 2 white, and i gotta say during the daytime these things are flippin bright.

  • nice set up....for road work??? good combo..

  • i have a nissan titan with warning lights also im gunna post a vid soon im just waiting on a few mini phantoms

  • Nice setup! Those led3's really get the job done!
