Wouldn't it be something if the West build a huge super weapon under the guise of a research protect?. Something that could shoot huge amounts of energy into space to be redirected to shoot down ICBMs or directly attack ground targets? Just think of all the scientists you would have to fool. Even if there is a "God particle" or even a "God" for that matter, where did it come from and who created it? If they did find this magical particle, they would find themselves asking the very same question that led them to discover it in the first place
god isnt being used to scare people he doesnt even care if you choose to beleive in him or not. but to those who do are blessed and to those who dont then too bad.
@4redobio69 Thisis kinda the point though, through scienctific method they are using methods to ascertain exactly what has happened and where it came from rather than blindly stating something and leaving it at that, because there is no credibility in just believeing something without any quantifiable evidence, and as for fuck y'all - well do you really think your man in the sky would be happy at that one, you stick to keeping your head in the sand, your obv comfortable there
my theory: god and religion is created for ppl that are confused about how they got here or because they need away to dump all there sins away. in the beginning they needed there kids to be afraid of somthing to make them not do bad things so.. "hey kids if you do bad things you'll goto hell:)" (FAIL) or how about this? "god created us out of rocks and sand so we just popped out of the ground:)" (FAIL) there is so many flaws in religion when science has shone facts time and time again.
I believe the universe is a scientific marvel created by an unknown force. God gives people hope, even though he isn't a physical thing. I'm not commenting to try to take peoples hope away. God was created by humanities misunderstanding of the world around them but it has done more good than wrong so I see no purpose in bringing God down. Be more open minded.
archuleatajustin says mass is maybe something are brain makes up. animals also belive in mass too right so one way or another us and animals are the same? well idk im just 12!!!!
They are searching for a GOD particle and wonder why the machine keeps having problems ...LOL ..They can never know GOD or a GOD particle . To bad they didn't use that 7 billion for something useful .
mass could be an illusion created by our brains that are connected to a large computer that sends signals to our brain reproducing a lifelike interpretation of what we call mass, it is possible that mass does not really exist like we think. we believe in mass because we can feel it, but what if we are programmed this way?
all that money if they feed the poor all we will feel betteer.anyway why do they want to kn i dn get that.the universe works as we act we r good universe is good we r bad the universe willl be bad we do all
yea!!! i show a real tesla wireless energy transfer, its quite important, i sent wireless energy 20 ft with just a basic setup! a full model can send energy wirelessly to all points on the earth, giving humantiy unlimited energy thus you would upgrade the living conditions worldwide and stop alot of enviromental problems. please we should be building these wireless transmitters to futher humanity, instead of smashing little pieces of matter.
Why not use this technology to look back in time at the Earth? We could set up cameras in space to capture images from hours back to solve crimes. Would be a good sci fi flick anyway I think. Let me know if you make it.
You do so well for the first two contractions and then you pluralize words with apostrophes...well, I guess if you just do it on all of them you'll be right sometimes!
I know the LHC failed initial testing in late 2007, and also had trouble running in early 2008. Does anyone know when the LHC will be operational? I heard June 2009, and truth to this?
I saw the movie about 2 weeks ago. I found it really interesting. Kind of like "The Davinci Code". And btw,did the LHC ever get turned on? They've been saying 2007-2008 but now it's 2009. Did they decide that the god particle is too strong for us humans to handle and they eliminated the project?
noooo the LHC got screwed, multiple times, now they have to fix it and clear the accelerator tube that supposed to have vacuum in it from liquid nitrogen or whatever it was.
i show a real tesla wireless energy transfer, its quite important, i sent wireless energy 20 ft with just a basic setup! a full model can send energy wirelessly to all points on the earth, giving humantiy unlimited energy thus you would upgrade the living conditions worldwide and stop alot of enviromental problems. please we should be building these wireless transmitters to futher humanity, instead of smashing little pieces of matter.
at least, if nothing else, we will get a ever more powerfull weapon..disecting atoms gave us atom bombs disecting nucleas gave us nuclear bombs releasing the strong force binding the protons and neutrons.. now we will shatter quarks, muons and gluons and who the fuck knows what will happen.. athough destructive weapons come from these sort of experiments, so does a lot of helpful technology. something huge has to happen soon.. life is getting boring
Theoretically speaking... how can they recreate the events immediately after the big bang when noone knows what, if any particles existed prior to this event. The fact remains... you can't get something from nothing, unless the universe was not created, but always existed. Goes beyond humanity's mental capacity and should just be left alone. The money spent on the LHC could've been used for other - more practical purposes.
we wont understand anything this ways. open ur third eye, get back to spiritual roots and u wobnt only understand EVERTHING, u will BE everything, a part of it.
No theory on BB or primordial nucleosynthesis suggests that matter existed before the BB. No science theorizes that something came from nothing. The elementary principle is energy cannot be created or destroyed. The LHC will probe the mystery of matter formation in the early stages following the BB, the theory of the Higgs Boson, possible evidence of M theory and Dark Matter. We know how matter is formed due to conservation laws, but not how matter formed to begin with.
Gaining insight to what took place on a molecular level and understanding how the universe was formed shortly after the BB is great, but remember that the BB is still just a theory, so this test will only further demonstrate what MAY have taken place based on theoretic principles.
Besides creating enormous amounts of data, this "six billion dollar experiment" will only create an enormous number of questions.
Furthermore slavyanka77, proving the existence of yet unknown elements after a theoretic event through an egregiously overpriced "lab experiment" is nonsensical.
Unless we can determine the state of the universe prior to the BB or primordial nucleosynthesis (if those theories even hold water), we'll just spend exorbitant amounts of money and allow the scientific community to pursue the foregone conclusion...
i personally agree that this whole experiment is bull and proves feck all for anyone and is totally pointless the money could have been used else where, A FUCKING WASTE OF TIME BULL SHITTY EXPERIMENT THAT WOULD GET LAUGHED AT ON DRAGONS DEN. prototype
No black hole will be made from any of the tests done with the LHC because no force exists on an atomic level. A black whole is a star that has collapsed under its own immense gravity and since gravity is a force it wont exist within the LHC.
Mmk, to the people saying "GOD DOES EXIST U DUMBASS," you can't prove that god exists. You can't make a 6 billion dollar machine that proves that god's real. But you can to prove that the big bang was real.
I love that the LHC was created, I'm excited to find out everything.
@realsgtskywalker your dumb there is proof all around you. What there isn't is proof that God is not real. Big Bang Theory is a "theory" not a law because there is no proof, just suggestions. Try to prove that God isn't real and you'll spend your whole life getting nowhere except closer to him.
to proove that god isn't real is real easy, because that leaves us the question "well, where is that sob?
and you can't answer that, because god is a man made fairtytale, and you are just one of the many idiots who believe in fairytales, that's all. Dude, the stories about god and the bible were made in a time when people fought that the world was flat and you could drop off at the edge, so that's how stuppid people were in those days, and how stuppid people still are today.
Ok lol but if this experience goes bad, and this big bang thing gets bigger and swallow everything around or just fucking explode ? damn if theyre trying this , its because they dont know whats behind ... this might be really dangerous
They are just creating conditions, not an actual Universe inside our own Universe underneath Earth's surface no less. The biggest fear is creating a "stranglet" (Which would be the supposed "Higgs Boson" particle being so stable that every atom it bounces into transforms that atom into the same type of particle as the Higgs, and those atoms transform other atoms and so on until all of Earth and everything within and on Earth is transformed into strange matter, which would still kill us all).
do these ass holes have a permit for this? i dont want my house floating in outer space becuase my ass got big bang. and yes thier is god.....its not like for no reason what so ever a giant ball blew up and created life. who ever says thier is no god has a devil in them
would you rather have your "money" go to build missiles or would you like it to be spent on discovering the reason for our existence... I love people unconditionally and will for the rest of my life but ignorance really makes it hard.
its human nature to wonder and try to explain and understand. to you it may have been a big waste of money whereas to others it may have been the pennical of their life time.
my freind there is only 1 god, who created the universe, humans and the jins...
life is a TEST, nothin else, to earn the heavans or hell. its a TEST. no bang has created nothin, to beleive bigbang and try to experiment, is the biggest ignorance ever.
god gives life n takes it back. our only return is to him. peace.
Your going to die one day and if there is a heaven your going to be up there going. well fuck. i had my chance at life, but instead i was ignorant and sour enough to push your beliefs on others. there may be a god. but we know more about the cosmo's than who actually wrote the bible. so let these people discover there own answers to their beliefs
im not trying one bit to disprove you, im not trying to argue, and im defiantley not trying to push any of my beliefs on to you. to talk about religion and the meaning of life is too philisophical for me anyhow.
@-drewskichelle--LOL if there is a God then Jesus must have ben live too..but tell me, where are those lost years from Jesus child.. huh?No one can tell that.. And even if there was a Jesus..who said that he was a Messiash?Maybe he was mentally retarded and ppl in these times belives him..And everything he have said was transferred from generation to generation..And it has grown for name of religion. There is more..but..ehh. All this is my opinion

i call meself an ignorant rite, with ma ignorant thoughts, i can garenty that, this experiment is a waste, what happend to it? why did it stop? sceince??? there have been millions of discoverys but, to find out how we created, with an experiment like this is a waste. are u ppl still not aware of ur lord blessings? peace.
Unfortunately, the Higgs Boson will not make the explanation of what mass is any simpler. It merely puts the root explanation just another remove further away. I think we are fighting a losing battle here. In my view, all particles extend to the edge of the universe (all fields are infinite in size with a probability locus we call a particle) and all particles interract *at* the edge. After all, probability is not subject to SoL limits. The Higgs Boson is unneccessary.
Experiments like the LHC will point to ways to use the forces we can easily manipulate to alter and manipulate forces we currently have no idea how to use. Gravity, space and other aspects of reality. We are, right now, vulnerable to so many ways of going extinct it gives me a headache. The old "all the eggs in one basket" problem. We need to get off this ball of mud and move industry into space where it belongs.
It is remarkable to consider how much better the world would be if we would invest into ourselves via our collective and personal self-betterment than to waste money on satisfying the pathological curiousity of a few researchers, priests of the cult of science (who will sell their findings to whichever military that is willing to pay the most for them).
Indeed, maybe some of the money could have been used to educate all those poor spellers and inept grammarians out there on Youtube.
I agree ! Lets put all this money into universities. Lets "INVEST" it into science. Lets discover something new like - the Higgs particle. When you think of it the entire budget of NASA redustributet to wlefare for example would last about 8 minutes.
This is one of the most fundamental experiments in the history of "LIFE / EXISTANCE" and you are swearing at each other. Appreciate iot for what it is and be civil! Happy New Year.
i want to make it clear that there talking about putting sub atomic particals and smashing them together and making something this does not explain creation
HAHAHAHA, ssjgotengt used "there" in the place of "they're"! HAHAHAHAHA what a moron! and he doesn't understand that THEY'RE trying to understand new particles so they can find out learn about many many different levels of science, mostly about chemistry, physics, and astronomy. The findings they might discover could help us discover things such as deep space exploration and how matter "FORMS!". However, at the same time it could teach us nothing, so we'll have to wait and see what we learn.
i know that u stupid shit... this is youtube not english class so i could care less if i say omg u suk... oh no i didnt use grammer i dont know anything... fucking idiot its ppl like you that made fun of Einstein...and look at you now < oh no i didnt put a period means i have a low IQ... douche..
"They are" and there is a mistake worse than proper grammar, it's a mistake that changes the entire meaning of the sentence. But yeah ur right this isn't english class, it is however fun to pick on people who make claims that are entirely untrue. Which was real purpose of my comment. You however missed that, cuz ur a dummy. :P HAHAHAHAHA
well gee where do i begin? First off calling me a narcissist is really strange, since you have no more data about myself than I have about you. I could pretty much say the same thing for you and use all the same claims you make about me. So I'm not quite sure why you chose to include it. Because i poked fun at ur 3rd grade level mistake? Well i don't see how that means I'm in love with myself but w/e.
Second off, you tried to say in your first comment that smashing those particles together doesn't explain creation, and while you are right to an extend, I take that as an inference that you don't understand that this isn't a test to explain creation, but it is (hopefully) a step in the right direction for that answer. I really don't care about ur shitty typing jobs. But I'm still gunna laugh at them cuz clearly you suck at writing.
You fail for thinking i was apologizing and accepting the not-so-apology. You fail for thinking that the first sentence was the first sentence, cuz really the comment you focused on was the second post i made and more like the 7th sentence. I only made 2 posts cuz i had too many characters for one post. You fail for still not understanding that this is (hopefully) a step in the right direction towards finding out how we got here. And you fail for still liking Dragon ball. You Fail x4
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You know why your really fail... You start attacking things i like. I like Dragon Ball... i now know you really dont know what your talking about and your loosing. Please lurk more.
Cutting edge science made the world better in the past and will keep doing so in the future. The lhc isnt just a toy for scientists but its a tool to help us understand the deepest nature of reality. And i think this kindof knowledge will really benefit mankind in the future.
For people who question the LHC for its price tag: Have you cared to ask yourselves, how much money has been spent starting from the first computing machine (abacus as far as I know), so that you can post your comments here?
Science, technology and innovation is the answer to mankind's survival; not just the sick and starving.
before you criticize the LHC's price, you should question what else governments spend their money on (for eg, the US sends more foreign aid to israel than the rest of the world combined, although i didn't think israel was that poor). for once, i think this was money well spent, for science is the answer to the sick and starving.
so what should we do, then? Wait for Africa and other not-develloped regions to get civilisized and then we can discover what the universe is all about? poverty will never leave the earth you know..
Reading through your comments, it basically sounds to me like you take the skeptical argument for most things. While there's nothing wrong with that, eventually at some level you have to suppress that view and simply work with what you have.
If we remained skeptical about everything, and waited until we had positive, concrete, "in-our-hands-I-can-touch-it" proof, then we, as a civilization, would stagnate and never advance.
ZeroHumans: While I agree that the media favouritise the Big Bang theory, it still is a plausable theory.
All theories in Science are possible unless proven by factual results. Until we acquire the technology and knowledge to do this (which we may never do), all theories that fall relatively within scientific guidelines are acceptable.
For the record, all theories are forms of hypothesis; beliefs of facts based on relevant possessed knowledge and values. The Big Bang was theorized using a lot of current data.
The big bang is just a theory, itso k to theorize. Why else would the universe be expanding? because it exploded and is still spreading out frmo the bang. My only question is..what caused the bang and was there anything before it?
What was it like just 1 second before the big bang? LHC or something like it. 2 somethings banged into each other and our Universe is was born and so was our time.
Now the big question Is Are there other Universe created after or before ours but are in a different time and we cannot see them?
The "Big bang" is a crazy fairy tale dreamed up by science priests on crack. They think if they keep saying those words enough all you gullible people will accept it. They are throwing away $6 billion dollars because people think they have inside information on the universe when they can't even get to mars. what a joke.
"The "Big bang" [was] dreamed up by science priests on crack."
The Catholic priest Georges Lemaitre, to be exact.
"...all you gullible people will accept it."
Lemaitre put forward quite a bit of evidence, including the observed red-shift of distant galaxies.
"They are throwing away $6 billion dollars..."
The LHC was built to confirm the standard model of particle physics. It will create high-energy conditions to do so, but the fact that this is similar to the Big Bang is largely coincidental.
I love how you crackpots just offhand say "the big bang" as if it was holy fact! That's against any science whatsoever.. your "evidence" is fourth hand and worthless, proves my point, you're definitely not scientists, you're priests and propagandists. If an engineers built bridges based on your assumptions and crackpot models and cartoon theories, there wouldn't be one bridge built, they'd all be standing around scratching their asses :D
It is a fact, although I'm not sure why you would call it holy.
"...your "evidence" is fourth hand..."
I've observed it personally. You can too; just go order a spectroscope online and look at some stars. Mark their spectral lines, and compare them to spectro-graphs of hydrogen.
If you don't trust the graphs, get some hydrogen and heat it (CAREFULLY!) in a test tube. You can tell the lines in the stars are red-shifted. If you have a background in physics, you can use a simple wavelength formula to determine how fast the stars are receding.
now that's not fourth hand it's about one hundreth hand.. your first grade expermiment with spectral lines and "simple wavelength formulas" is pure crap.. why don't you tell your crackpot scientists that you found a far cheaper way to fake a theory? Next you are going to say you boarded Dr who's time machine and used dr spock's warp drive to personally observe it. You need to stop hitting that bong so hard. By the way the definition of "theory" is not "fact". Ever read a dictionary?
"your first grade expermiment with spectral lines and "simple wavelength formulas" is pure crap.."
I'm sorry, your objection is so incoherent I'm not sure how to respond. What are you trying to say? Do you think spectroscopy is a poor science? But that's absurd, because we use it every day in forensic science to analyze the chemical makeup of various substances, and it's so effective it's accepted in courts of law.
"your first grade expermiment with spectral lines and "simple wavelength formulas" is pure crap.."
Are you saying the wave understanding of light is inaccurate? That understanding is based on the dual-slit experiment, and it makes several predictions that have been repeatedly confirmed. In fact, we can simulate this effect by basically heating some hydrogen and moving it away from us very rapidly. Once again, the spectral lines will match distant stars.
i'm not even going to get into the both waves and particles at the same time hocus pocus. I guess those scientists never needed to measure CMB, all they had to do was follow you with your spectral lines to accept the big bang as the holy word. As if their CMB measurements had any validity, they were primitive and flawed as hell.
"...the both waves and particles at the same time hocus pocus. "
You mean the dual model that has repeatedly made successful predictions, and which is used today in fiber-optics?
"...those scientists never needed to measure CMB..."
Cosmic microwave background radiation WAS a successful prediction of the theory, so it was strong evidence, but the red-shift evidence is more accessible to the ignorant.
"...flawed as hell."
Lol dream on. Modern CMB mapping has confirmed earlier mappings.
Beam profiles of CMB measurements were proven to have systematic errors. They are failures. Fiber-optics is NOT based on dual supersitition. Just because you can make light appear to behave like energy waves AND particles in math doesn't mean it corresponds to reality. Water is composed of particles and can behave like a wave when it is disturbed as well. I could make a whole "mathematical model" around that. Redshift is NOT reliable & can be caused by charged particles. You're the ignorant one
"Beam profiles of CMB measurements were proven to have systematic errors."
No, they were found to have inaccuracies. This is no more an error than a fuzzy picture is an error. Cleaning up the fuzz doesn't change the shape of the picture, it just makes it clearer--and confirms the BBT even further.
"Fiber-optics is NOT based on dual supersitition."
For fiber optic cables to work, they require that light behave like a particle under certain conditions and like a wave under other conditions.
"Water is composed of particles and can behave like a wave when it is disturbed as well."
The individual particles ALWAYS behave like particles. In light, the individual particles (photons) behave like waves. This was demonstrated clearly in the dual- and single-slit experiments.
"Redshift is NOT reliable & can be caused by charged particles."
Lol now THAT is a fairy tale. Pull the other one XD
You're a fairy tale and a bad joke. "We don't know what, maybe the cookie monster, created the universe from a random hot point in nothing and spewed out space and galaxies which we can't prove since we don't have the physics for that. "oh we don't enough mass for that to be true, let's invent dark matter to fill in". "Oh we found some stars that are older than 13.7 billion years, let's change the age of the universe" That's your religion. It's like priests using bible quotes. Bunch of bs.
They did experiments on the 15 galaxies that you jerkwads said there was dark matter. They used the curvature of space in place of the so called dark matter to explain the outlying rotations of the stars. The results came out the same. That's still a second-hand observation with mathematical models but it proves your dark matter is weak and isn't the holy grail.
"They did experiments on the 15 galaxies that you jerkwads said there was dark matter. They used the curvature of space in place of the so called dark matter to explain the outlying rotations of the stars. The results came out the same."
Now now kiddie, just because you don't have any evidence is no reason to lie. Gravity doesn't explain why the arms move at the same rate as the interior--that's the whole reason we hypothesized dark matter in the first place.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we don't fully understand how the Big Bang actually happened? With that in mind, how can we hope to harness conditions similar to the conditions of the Big Bang?

My opinion
The LHC process goes in vacuum near the absolute zero: T=0K
In the Nature the element helium II (and He I) exist in vacuum
near the absolute zero: T= 0K. So, maybe better to know how
from vacuum ,where the massless elementary particles must
exist, can the real element helium II appears

Theoretically speaking... how can they recreate the events immediately after the big bang when noone knows what, if any particles existed prior to this event. The fact remains... you can't get something from nothing, unless the universe was not created, but always existed. Goes beyond humanity's mental capacity and should just be left alone. The money spent on the LHC could've been used for other - more practical purposes.

informationsponge,
No theory on BB or primordial nucleosynthesis suggests that matter existed before the BB. No science theorizes that something came from nothing. The elementary principle is energy cannot be created or destroyed. The LHC will probe the mystery of matter formation in the early stages following the BB, the theory of the Higgs Boson, possible evidence of M theory and Dark Matter. We know how matter is formed due to conservation laws, but not how matter formed to begin with.

slavyanka77, you missed my point completely.
Gaining insight to what took place on a molecular level and understanding how the universe was formed shortly after the BB is great, but remember that the BB is still just a theory, so this test will only further demonstrate what MAY have taken place based on theoretic principles.
Besides creating enormous amounts of data, this "six billion dollar experiment" will only create an enormous number of questions.
informationsponge 2 years ago
Furthermore slavyanka77, proving the existence of yet unknown elements after a theoretic event through an egregiously overpriced "lab experiment" is nonsensical.
Unless we can determine the state of the universe prior to the BB or primordial nucleosynthesis (if those theories even hold water), we'll just spend exorbitant amounts of money and allow the scientific community to pursue the foregone conclusion...
we'll never know!!!

No black hole will be made from any of the tests done with the LHC because no force exists on an atomic level. A black whole is a star that has collapsed under its own immense gravity and since gravity is a force it wont exist within the LHC.

RyuDarragh 3 years ago
Experiments like the LHC will point to ways to use the forces we can easily manipulate to alter and manipulate forces we currently have no idea how to use. Gravity, space and other aspects of reality. We are, right now, vulnerable to so many ways of going extinct it gives me a headache. The old "all the eggs in one basket" problem. We need to get off this ball of mud and move industry into space where it belongs.
RyuDarragh 3 years ago
It is remarkable to consider how much better the world would be if we would invest into ourselves via our collective and personal self-betterment than to waste money on satisfying the pathological curiousity of a few researchers, priests of the cult of science (who will sell their findings to whichever military that is willing to pay the most for them).
Indeed, maybe some of the money could have been used to educate all those poor spellers and inept grammarians out there on Youtube.

"big bang" isn't even a "theory" it's a weak hypothesis which the media likes to quote as fact
ZeroHumans 3 years ago

Constructive replies please everyone.

For the record, all theories are forms of hypothesis; beliefs of facts based on relevant possessed knowledge and values. The Big Bang was theorized using a lot of current data.
darrenhuseyin 3 years ago 4
It's a pity part of it went bang, rather ironic really.
gordonblair 3 years ago
The big bang is just a theory, itso k to theorize. Why else would the universe be expanding? because it exploded and is still spreading out frmo the bang. My only question is..what caused the bang and was there anything before it?
ProGRocK1128 3 years ago
What was it like just 1 second before the big bang? LHC or something like it. 2 somethings banged into each other and our Universe is was born and so was our time.
Now the big question Is Are there other Universe created after or before ours but are in a different time and we cannot see them?
JONSEREDdotWS 3 years ago
Just wondering... most our world is in crises. Why is that such an urgency?
Dont governments need to first make sure we are all fed and safe before playing around with theoretical adventures?
They even admit that this may not work.
I do understand the need to evolve and understand... but not on the expanse of other more immediate and urgent matters.

The "Big bang" is a crazy fairy tale dreamed up by science priests on crack. They think if they keep saying those words enough all you gullible people will accept it. They are throwing away $6 billion dollars because people think they have inside information on the universe when they can't even get to mars. what a joke.
ZeroHumans 3 years ago
"The "Big bang" [was] dreamed up by science priests on crack."
The Catholic priest Georges Lemaitre, to be exact.
"...all you gullible people will accept it."
Lemaitre put forward quite a bit of evidence, including the observed red-shift of distant galaxies.
"They are throwing away $6 billion dollars..."
The LHC was built to confirm the standard model of particle physics. It will create high-energy conditions to do so, but the fact that this is similar to the Big Bang is largely coincidental.
Hooya2 3 years ago
I love how you crackpots just offhand say "the big bang" as if it was holy fact! That's against any science whatsoever.. your "evidence" is fourth hand and worthless, proves my point, you're definitely not scientists, you're priests and propagandists. If an engineers built bridges based on your assumptions and crackpot models and cartoon theories, there wouldn't be one bridge built, they'd all be standing around scratching their asses :D
ZeroHumans 3 years ago
"...as if it was holy fact!"
It is a fact, although I'm not sure why you would call it holy.
"...your "evidence" is fourth hand..."
I've observed it personally. You can too; just go order a spectroscope online and look at some stars. Mark their spectral lines, and compare them to spectro-graphs of hydrogen.
Hooya2 3 years ago
If you don't trust the graphs, get some hydrogen and heat it (CAREFULLY!) in a test tube. You can tell the lines in the stars are red-shifted. If you have a background in physics, you can use a simple wavelength formula to determine how fast the stars are receding.
Hooya2 3 years ago
now that's not fourth hand it's about one hundreth hand.. your first grade expermiment with spectral lines and "simple wavelength formulas" is pure crap.. why don't you tell your crackpot scientists that you found a far cheaper way to fake a theory? Next you are going to say you boarded Dr who's time machine and used dr spock's warp drive to personally observe it. You need to stop hitting that bong so hard. By the way the definition of "theory" is not "fact". Ever read a dictionary?
ZeroHumans 3 years ago
"your first grade expermiment with spectral lines and "simple wavelength formulas" is pure crap.."
I'm sorry, your objection is so incoherent I'm not sure how to respond. What are you trying to say? Do you think spectroscopy is a poor science? But that's absurd, because we use it every day in forensic science to analyze the chemical makeup of various substances, and it's so effective it's accepted in courts of law.
Hooya2 3 years ago
"your first grade expermiment with spectral lines and "simple wavelength formulas" is pure crap.."
Are you saying the wave understanding of light is inaccurate? That understanding is based on the dual-slit experiment, and it makes several predictions that have been repeatedly confirmed. In fact, we can simulate this effect by basically heating some hydrogen and moving it away from us very rapidly. Once again, the spectral lines will match distant stars.
Hooya2 3 years ago
i'm not even going to get into the both waves and particles at the same time hocus pocus. I guess those scientists never needed to measure CMB, all they had to do was follow you with your spectral lines to accept the big bang as the holy word. As if their CMB measurements had any validity, they were primitive and flawed as hell.
ZeroHumans 3 years ago
"...the both waves and particles at the same time hocus pocus. "
You mean the dual model that has repeatedly made successful predictions, and which is used today in fiber-optics?
"...those scientists never needed to measure CMB..."
Cosmic microwave background radiation WAS a successful prediction of the theory, so it was strong evidence, but the red-shift evidence is more accessible to the ignorant.
"...flawed as hell."
Lol dream on. Modern CMB mapping has confirmed earlier mappings.
Hooya2 3 years ago
Beam profiles of CMB measurements were proven to have systematic errors. They are failures. Fiber-optics is NOT based on dual supersitition. Just because you can make light appear to behave like energy waves AND particles in math doesn't mean it corresponds to reality. Water is composed of particles and can behave like a wave when it is disturbed as well. I could make a whole "mathematical model" around that. Redshift is NOT reliable & can be caused by charged particles. You're the ignorant one
ZeroHumans 3 years ago
"Beam profiles of CMB measurements were proven to have systematic errors."
No, they were found to have inaccuracies. This is no more an error than a fuzzy picture is an error. Cleaning up the fuzz doesn't change the shape of the picture, it just makes it clearer--and confirms the BBT even further.
"Fiber-optics is NOT based on dual supersitition."
For fiber optic cables to work, they require that light behave like a particle under certain conditions and like a wave under other conditions.
Hooya2 3 years ago
Sorry no big bang was ever confirmed by CMB or otherwise except in your mind. And your mind is not the physical universe.
ZeroHumans 3 years ago
What they "behave" as is not reality.
ZeroHumans 3 years ago

No, but the evidence shows that's what happened.
"oh we don't enough mass for that to be true, let's invent dark matter to fill in"
Duh, if there isn't something in galaxies helping them to spin in one piece the arms would have fallen apart billions of years ago.
"Oh we found some stars that are older than 13.7 billion years..."
We haven't, so... OK.

Now now kiddie, just because you don't have any evidence is no reason to lie. Gravity doesn't explain why the arms move at the same rate as the interior--that's the whole reason we hypothesized dark matter in the first place.
