You can't discuss boxing with black people, because they're always biased towards black fighters. Ali, Frazier, Liston, Tyson, Duran you name them. Were all better fighters than Marciano. But the thing is, Marciano had a chin boxing has never seen nor will ever see, and punching power beyond thinkable, and because of that he would have beaten all those fighters ive just mentioned with ease. Marciano was not a fighter he was a machine.

@FoxyBomb I give him full respect, but people are overating him because he had 0 defeats, i would like to see him take out George Forman while his out of his prime like Ali did, or beat Frazier twice while being out of his prime like Ali did. Ali fought way more tougher fighters during his career and he only had loses due to his parkinsons and old age, and of course his lay off. When Ali was in his prime he was faster that Rocky, had better relexes, better stamina and better footwork.

@Phenomenon58 I honestly don't think people are overating him though because he is a legend who inspires many boxers including myself out there. I love Ali a lot however I do think Rock and Ali fighting would be one of the best fights in the world. And about the stamina, Rocky was well known for his incredible stamina, it was unreal. Also back when Rocky was around boxers was totally different, it was alot tougher, people were alot tougher. Please rate Rocky with the greats, because he is one :)

@FoxyBomb Yes, i agree that his up there with the greats but he is not the greatest. A match with Ali would be the best in the world for sure but the main reason i think Ali would have won is because the boxers in this video were sluggers and they didnt look like fast movers. They tried to out muscle Rocky but ofcourse they lost because Rockys power was unmatched at that time. Ali would have moved an awful lot and would slowly pick apart Rocky. Fast punches, footwork. He wouldnt catch Ali.

@Phenomenon58 I agree that Ali had a huge opportunity to beat Rocky with points however, remember all it takes is one punch to end the fight, with that said they measures Rock M's right hook power and it lifted a measurement of 3000 pounds one whole foot off the ground. Just because a boxers is faster, doesn't mean he has a greater chance of winning. Rocky M ducked and weaved a great deal in which it's incredibly hard to dodge a punch from that. So I reckon it would be an even match! :)

I can tell that Rocky was a hard hitter - he put his whole body in the punches. That would make him highly vulnerable to fast combinations from the like of Muhammad Ali.

The problem is that many fighters stuck to Rocky's pace - this is wrong. They should be faster and avoid his punches. But if he hits you then it's probably lights out.

One of the strongest punchers in the game for sure.

TBH, I think Ali would win without a doubt. Marciano was a scrapper but Ali not only had speed but also brains and the ability to dynamically change tactics depending on the situation. His fight with foreman proved that hard hitters to his body don't stand a chance.

@cainepittman2 No one is saying that body shots don't cause some effect. Just that Ali has proven with amazing skill to handle them better than anyone. Ali wouldn't have a problem with Marciano body shots, ONLY head shots.

But since Ali is quick, moves around a lot and has pinpoint combination Ali would have won the fight simply by out-thinking and out-boxing Marciano. None of Marciano opponents were like Ali but Ali beat a lot of opponents similar to Marciano.

@cainepittman2 joe just kinda bull dozed through bobbing and weaving. fraziers only major flaw was the low clubbing shot of foreman. there are 3 ways to beat frazier. the one marciano would have a chance in would be to stand toe to toe and trade. frazier was more elusive and much quicker. plus marciano didnt like to be pressed. and if you pressed frazier back you were in for one hell of a night. marciano imo wasnt the swarmer frazier was.
