Rogue Wave... I didn't discover this band, it's been with me as long as can I remember. Along with The Beatles and The Shins, this has been one of my favorite bands since I was a toddler. I remember taking the CD and putting it in the boombox and listening to it... I love Rogue Wave. Great video.

Wow, I love this-great job. I'm a film student too (please do NOT look at anything I've posted-those were all last second projects) and making music videos can be one of the best parts.

I loved the effect at the end of the first chorus with the eyes of the girl, and the ending colorization with the scarves looks fantastic.

The whole thing really just flows together well. The shots don't look forced and they look varied enough that it looks like you did a lot of work and over a period of time.

I wish the story was focused on just two characters, and had a little more meaning, maybe a lost relationship or something. But nice camera work. A little to effect heavy but really nice work. If you aren't in film school you have an eye, go get it!

i wanted to focus on just 4 people and it was about their nostalgia. I think 2 characters would explicitly leave this video as a lovee story rather than lost conenctions, which was my main goal. Although i wasn't successful. Unfortunately the effects got too excessive due to low quality of youtube and post-rendering.

i have to agree with almost everyone here you have brought this song to life, instead of just a slide show you have attempted to portray the song as a story very well done, only one downer on it and its not your fault its the stupid auto focus and light adjustments on cam corders making people dark and blurry at times i would love to see you do exactly the same with professional gear 5 stars all the way from me mate

i agree with you. I only have a DVD camcorder which means it has its limits. Thankfully the software i use is professional that i got some of the effects i initially wanted.

Honestly this video isn't even finished - i couldn't shoot the scenes which tells the rest of the storylines since there was a deadline for examination.

I actually did that in the preliminary rendering, but there wasn't enough "chrous time" to fit in most of the characters in, so i ended up taking out the slow mo effect just to fit at least 2 seconds of each character.
