@GgigglesShorty im glad they dont it was boring to watch and now that see it again still boring and offensive with nudity and being locked in with out help in a museum these kids would be in reality frightened and cryin
WHY IN THE WORLD IS THIS NOT AVAILABLE ON DVD. Ugh. Sold on the Met website as VHS only. Is there some kind of copyright issue? So much better than the hack Sesame Street movies that are sold on DVD now. This movie is absolutely gold.
Sesame Street always taught children from my generation about cultures of the world such as Japan and ancient Egypt, as in this special. Today, Sponge Bob Square Pants and his tard friend are the most memorable images this generation has. Is it any wonder why ignorance is only percolating?
I kind of agree with you, I think their content should go back to their older style and they should definitely have a change in guest stars, other than that as long as they're teaching children i'm happy
Completely agree with you. Sadly I admit I still love sesame street...and I'm 22. I tried getting my cousin's kid who's 5 to watch sesame street...it didn't go well he screamed for ed edd and eddie...so depressing. And not only ignorance is increasing but vulgarity is being taught through those cartoons
Grover's life was in finding over-complicated solutions to minor problems.
Ernie's and Big Bird spent their time wondering why things are the way they are, and often come to the wrong conclusions (to the chagrin of Bert, Bob, and Maria.
Oscar was only happy when things were lousy.
The characters represent different interests of childhood.
Now what were the chances that that 'Don't Eat the Pictures' sign would be there? Could the museum have anticipated that Cookie Monster would be coming?
My sister was on an episode of Sesame Street with Grover like 17 years ago. Mom worked for the president of CTW so we were all up in that place! It pretty much rocked.

Radcliffe131324 1 year ago
@Radcliffe131324 At the time when this was made, Elmo was a minor character. He didn't become popular until "Elmo's Word" came out on Sesame Street.

That's a sign you don't see in an art museum everyday.
brokensoul8390 2 years ago 9
why did cookie monster want to eat everything
joshualiu1993 2 years ago
That was the essence of his character.
Cookie Monster's chief interest was food.
The Count's main obsession was numbers.
Grover's life was in finding over-complicated solutions to minor problems.
Ernie's and Big Bird spent their time wondering why things are the way they are, and often come to the wrong conclusions (to the chagrin of Bert, Bob, and Maria.
Oscar was only happy when things were lousy.
