Nice to see this line up again. The second live concert I ever saw was Asia on the City Island in Harrisburg, PA. Aug. 26, 1983 (16yrs old). I remember seeing Steve Howe for the first time, and having to pick my jaw up off the ground.
I'm hearing this just after the Yes - Machine Messiah clip . Same venue, same recorder (thanks). But the sound of the Yes clip is definitely better, fuller. Yes seems the better mixed this night, but the largest improvement is... the Yes song is less echo-y, more than anything. Oddly.
Geoff hamming it up... Love those rock-typical interactions. Don't see that at a Yes concert! -- Chris and Steve should get together over a few (organic) beers!
Carl Palmer is brilliant as always.

what's hot: Steve Howe's signature solo updated for 2009. :)
what's not: Wetton and Downe doing the booty bump. :(
(somebody should get these two onto a SlimFast diet...)
it's still fun to watch the dinosaurs roam the earth once again... :)

Carl has gained a few extra pounds but he can still play a lot better than most drummers we see out there these days!

say what? That is Carl Palmer.....who do you consider good? some douche from today's top 40? Sheesh?

The drummer is Carl Palmer from ELP. He may not be as great as he was in the 70s, but he can still drum circles around most today!

I waited almost 25 years to see them live in Mexico City. Worth the wait.
