good old 4.2L ford makes a great/ the greatest 6 cyl truck ive seen these motors with over 505,000 kms original tranny and motor, my uncle has one a 97 f-150 with 360,000 kms, and a buddy of mine had a e-150 with the 4.2L it had 685,000 original.

@FordmanHaulit3002010 Actually, the old 4.9l is a better engine I say, but the best 6 I have ever seen in a truck since 88 is GM's 4.3l those things never die, them shitty 305 Chevys may die, but the 350 and the 4.3 (350 with two cylinders cut out) are the best damn engines in trucks. In the S10 that cant be said about their trannis but in the Silverado/Sierra. Best little engines. But that 4.2 isnt a bad engine, until Chevy has to power its fuel supply!
