emm, i kinda tried the code too many times on my friends iphone, now she wants me to fix it, beacuse it it is deaktivated. it says connect to itunes. is it the same thing as here i have to do. or somthing else?

@Thegamersofnorway1 It's similar yes. You'll need to connect the device to iTunes and link it back up with your friends iTunes account.

When I got my first iPhone 4.. I never got any sims card.. And I did plug it into my computer for iTunes... But for some reason wherever I go I don't have any Internet connection... But only in my house I do... WEIRD!!

If so you can order one from here > bit#ly/vGTREx (Swap the # symbol for a dot . ) If you do have a SIM but are having issues connecting to the internet it may be worth checking your settings. @O2GuruTV no i got it from verizon.... so i think if i reset it i can acually make it work.. but as i said i have verizon.... so they dont have the sim cards...

@BlahBlahBlahCupcake1 You can try resetting the network settings. Go to > Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Does that make any difference?

@O2GuruTV I dont know but i just did that now and it shut off my phone and then showed the apple sign and a bar below it...... and now i have to put my code in to unlock my phone....

well not really because usually for iphones wherever you go you have internet and its doing the same thing again.. im thinking i should go to the apple store at a mall... they will know what to do and probably will give me a knew one... or will just fix it

@BlahBlahBlahCupcake1 You can do. I would also recommend contacting your network provider for your internet settings. You may have to change the settings depending on what type of mobile plan you are on.

@haloreach3005 You will be able to activate the phone itself without a sim card. To actually start using the phone properly so you can get service and start callling and texting etc you would need a sim yes. If you have an existing account with us you can just activate the new sim and you will keep everything from your account. :)

@yveschayeb Blackberries back up in IPD format which is not compatible with the iPhone. Try converting the back up to a CSV file. You can download a programme called Magicberry. Once downloaded to your computer go to File > Open > Documents > Blackberry > Backups. Go to the address book and select the contacts you want and select export to CSV. This will create a readable backup of the contacts. Now use Google Sync to import contacts to the iphone. More info > bit#ly/10naL (Swap # for dot . )

@lakers4life91 We would not recommend restoring an iPod Touch 4G backup to an iPhone 4S as Apple themselves don't recommend doing it on a standard iPhone 4 due to it causing problems, so on an iPhone 4S it will likely cause further issues especially as the iPhone 4S will be running iOS 5

Thanks very helpful. I followed steps but unfortunately they were interrupted when someone disconnected phone half way through synchronisation. No problem - i re-attached and all data from previous phone loaded fine. However phone not working. I have new mini sim in phone and old sim in iphone 3, whioch still works. I tried O2 site and they sent through a micro-sim code, but to old phone. What do i do with this code to get new iphone 4 with micro sim working?

@goswellings There is no option on the device that allows you to select one of your songs as a ringtone. If you want a ringtone you can either buy one from the iTunes store or use a ringtone maker. There are a few apps you can download for free. Just seach for ringtone maker in the app store.

@goswellings Thanks for the kind comments, glad you find the video's useful. :) When syncing only tick the music that you want put onto the phone. You can use your iTunes account on more than one device. You can sync them to all have the same content or have different content on each. Hope this helps. :)

It does not work for me.

I bought a new iphone 4. I went home, downloaded itunes from Apples website.

I popped in the micro sim, connected the Iphone to the computer, and... nothing

I can copy images from the phone to my computer (but this beeing a brand new phone, there are none). But in Itunes it doesnt register.

The phone itself is only open for emergency calls (no apps or anything).

I tried reinstalling itunes, updating the driver, even deleting the driver and installing again.. nothing
