Obviously the people that are complaining about the truckers and telling them to chain up have never even touched a truck! Or never met a trucker, I work at a trucking outfit washing the trucks and know all the truckers that work there, and beleive me they arn't lazy. Also my dad's a trucker and I've helped him chain up a few times, a set of chains weigh about 50 pounds do try dragging a set of chains through the mud and putting them on a truck
