GGD are one of the tightest live bands I've ever seen, and one of the few bands that I would pay to go see on a night off. Suffice to say I'm a huge fan. the goo goo dolls are exceptionally uninteresting, bland and forgettable as musicians but this video just proves that even if you hate some music, you can still be friends with the people that like it.
They do make a lot of good points though about the way the band is now. Johnny hardly ever plays guitar, they only sign autographs if you have the CD. The Goos have become way too commercialized.

I also was really glad I saw that interview with their drummer. He really is a very cool guy. OMG SAME! The goo goo dolls are the best band ever. Personally, if you really hate them, give them another chance because they ROCK! And I don't like them because of Johnny like most people do haha, I like them for the band that they are and the music they make. :)

No, I like the band because I like their music.They are not manufactured like a lot of bands are today, its not just pop music anymore. They write their own songs. They can sing and play live(I've seen them). The fact that their lead singer, Johnny Rzeznik is hot is icing on the cake.If he were ugly I would still like them just as much. Totally hilarious and awesome. Jeremy certainly is tough--I don't think I would be able to see one of my favorite bands with a bunch of people who hated them and gave me crap the whole time, lol. I also was really glad I saw that interview with their drummer. He really is a very cool guy. I hope that pilgrimage was as fun and awesome as it seemed in the video, and I hope Jeremy had a good time despite the haters.

That was pretty good shit. I'm one proud to say the Goo Goo Dolls are one of (if not my) favorite bands. I have a few guilty pleasures similar to them. But I give you props on your little diss session that was pretty funny. I saw them last summer and a friend of mine saw them in PA and yea, we both agreed that Johnny appeared a little strung out on something. I'll see them again this Mar.10 and I will assume the same. I just wanna know how the ef you turds got so lucky...maybe hook a fella up.

whoa whoa.. just because they dont like the goo goo dolls doesnt mean that they're bad people. it just means that their music is somewhat subpar. cliche lyrics and monotonous chord structures sell cd's but dont make believers out of people who listen to music that's actually musical. try the beatles, or rush.

Try getting to know the band members/their music before you cut them down- all for a good laugh [on yourselves]. It's really sad you never got to meet Robby, or John. This would have helped you face your insecurities. Look and get to know the GGD's! Only then will you get to see what a genuine, true human being is like. They are NOT phony peopl, but the real deal. They fought long and hard to get to where they are today.
