  • Saw them last night. was beautiful. Almost spiritual. Great show.

  • Good old Vnv Nation still kicking some ass a good 20 year strong. These guys never disappoint

  • Pandora brought me here.. dj mango radio

  • The best thing about VNV, in my opinion, is that whatever they write I enjoy listening to. It shouldn't be about 'Does this sound like a VNV song, a VNV genre song, or something more mainstream?'. It should be about whether you can listen to a VNV song and have a smile on your face. Every single VNV song I have listened to, with only one or two exceptions, wakes up an emotion inside me. Including this incredible song. #VNVForever

  • @ImmortalNation

You have a good point. I still do enjoy the music, whether or not I think it fits in with the rest of what they've done, and that's what matters.

  • lovely

  • I never heard of them until last week and I'm in love with this album, it really gives me strength

  • my favourite song :)

  • I dont know whats with you people, cause its great song-being great in your own diversity and creativity is ultimate goal,I would say so. Yes,its different sound from their beginings, but they got many different sounds, even without vocals and with almost every one of them you feel like the sound surrounds you, deep and meaningfull lyrics carries you and overall it makes you defy gravity...

  • Anyone else think it sounds like he says "I'm lost in farts on open seas"? I know that's not waht he says, but I snickered like a 12 year old boy nonetheless.

  • where is the fucking lyrics?!

  • @6Alp6VaMpiRe6 click on show more

  • <3 Love it...

  • This song sounds oddly beautiful. I will always support these guys, no matter what they try or how they change.

  • ugh......I love it!!! you guys are amazing!

  • Been listening to VNV since way back. This is not a bad sound, I like cleaning the house and do laundry while this is playing, suffice to say Ronan is reaching out to mainstream society which is understandable. Nevertheless, they are still amazing!

  • I actually kind of like the direction they've taken. Granted, it's definitely NOT like their old stuff at all, but that's kind of to be expected as artists evolve, and also, to some of the other commenters it's totally okay to disapprove of where they've gone as that's the magic of being able to have a free opinion, lol. I listen to a lot of darker things, and sometimes it's nice to take a break with something easy. That's what I like this new album for.

  • Parts of this song remind me of the song "Kids" by MGMT. I always liked that song, and I like this one too.

  • If there's a fault to this album, it's the annoying re-enforcing of vocals where it comes less like a subset of industrial/electronic music and more so of pop.

  • I miss the old VNV sound... T_T

  • I have to admit it, I'm completely addicted to this song! It's nearly an obsession! My day becomes full of great things to come while I get absolutely and perfectly happy lost inside its rhythm...cannot wait to Madrid show in February!

  • i believe this one of te best songs they made i love it and cant stop loving this song!!!!!!!<3

  • You guys arent exactly giving this band credit. what I -truly- enjoy about VNV Nation... they are -NOT- afraid to try something new, whether its what fans want or not. They have the balls to go out and give something else a try with their sound as opposed to the same old, same old. VNV Nation forever!

  • @michaeljetfire

Well, there you go. It's what *YOU* enjoy about them. That doesn't necessarily mean it's the same for everyone. I still like the album, but not as much as their others.

  • @michaeljetfire Outstanding analysis they always try to change to varying degrees of success (with me anyways) but that's the primary reason I stick with them. Like marriage "for better or for worse." I love these 2. Big-Ups from D.C.!

  • @michaeljetfire Have some integrity dont paste ur popular comment over and over loser.

  • @michaeljetfire Totally agree with you there, but that's also what I don't like about this album. Their first four, particularly Matter+Form really experimented with different sounds and seemed to evolve. Judgment sort of did, and OFPG was excellent in its own right, but it kind of feels like VNV is staying in its own niche and not really stepping outside. This and Control are really the only songs that felt different and exclusive to this album.

  • Awesome Fucking Song! You have Done it yet Again my Dear Nation. Victory Not Vengeance! :)

  • this is by far VNV's happiest album so far... i preferred their darker stuff but this is still very good!

  • Why is it so hard for some people to simply enjoy the music? Sure, bands change sound, members, mottos, ideas etc, and of course that is to be expected. If one doesnt like something, the natural instinct is to refer back to what they DO like. If you're a pre-Automatic fan of VNV, simply don't buy or listen to the album and keep listening to all their old songs until they put out a new album. Music is music, it will always change with the times, either learn to apreciate it or find something else

  • I enjoyed this song. Sure, VNV Nation's sound has changed in the past ten years, but that's what bands do.

  • @NewEonOrchestra

True. But that doesn't mean I have to like where they've gone. Still. A good song and an overall good album - just not what I want from them. But obviously people enjoy it, so they must be doing something right.

  • !!!

  • I dunno. It's not old VNV for sure, but I like this album a lot. I don't know how one can refer to Judgement as a "classic" album. Personally I think it was their weakest by far. Of course, that may be why I have such a high opinion of Of Faith, Power and Glory and Automatic -- To me, they're both better than Judgement by miles.

  • @PLERKTA

I'm not completely sure what you're going on about, but I sort of agree with you in that this is probably my least favorite album from them ever.

  • @PLERKTA apop have fallen - not sure about this yet - i like what i've heard so far

  • @PLERKTA This is still totally fucking awesome. You do not simply have the ears for it. I Agree; On Average they where indeed much better in the olden days (I would argue that Matter + Form was their Golden days) But this is still awesome.

  • @PLERKTA I would say that Empires is the best album, as an entire album, I have heard from any band ever. The other three albums had their moments but apart from Futureperfect, and maybe Judgement, they were not as good, not nearly as good as Empires as an album, despite the classic songs they contain (e.g. Perpetual for any live fans of VNV). This album is as complete as VNV has been since Empires, in my opinion - I cannot find a fault with it.

  • @PLERKTA yea it sounds watered down. Loud albums are usually a big red flag to me. I don't like most pop and a lot of electronic music just because it's bland, textureless, and boring. for some reason I keep coming back to vnv nation though. This is still good, just not as good as the earlier stuff.

  • In my opinion the best dance song on this album. Even better than Control. But that is my personal opinion. Saw them in Gießen and its been a huge party. Your lyrics are even more brilliant than your music. Way to go Ronan and Mark...
