How do you get your natural hair to be so defined as it is now. All I know how to do is blow my hair out to be an afro. I really would love to have my curls out like yours or similar. Do you have any tips? Also before I forget I've been natural for a year.
Your natural hair is so beautiful! I have been watching your videos since the BC, and now I am planning on doing the big chop as well and going natural. I havent gotten a perm in about 5 months, and my hair is currently in braids. How should I go about cutting it? Should I get someone else to cut it? Should I cut it at the root, or cut until the new growth? Thanks! - FAQ
@SoccerHunni15 .... if you are planning on just going natural, then only cut at the ends of the new growth. if you want to rock a really really short cut, then shave it off. IMO, why go 5 months without a perm if you're going to shave?
I cut my own and I wish I had transitioned a little longer (it was such a shock), but braids are a nice way to get a few more months of growth in :-) Good luck!
ur girl pattern is so different from anyone i seen. I seen loosely 3b 3c hair but ur curls are really nice. I had a half wig that looked just like ur curl pattern i loved it.

Do you rinse your hair daily or just once a week on Sundays for detangling, etc? Also, I love your hair and welcome back home!
@NippEzWorld -Thank you! Sure, I cowash 1x a month and redo my hair monday, wednesday and friday. (a wet and go). I call it a wash n go, but all I am really doing those days is rewetting my hair in the shower, applying more conditoner, detangling, and that is it. I hope this helps!

Also, fyi, there are black Africans with this hair type.

Thank you for such great videos. I've been natural since 2004. However, I always did a blow dry or a curly pony tail. You videos have inspired me to show off my natural curls. For a week I have tried the CG method with wonderful results. I am finding that my hair takes forever to dry right near the scalp. How do you speed the drying process? FAQ

Thanks for doing a FAQ vid :) I would like to ask. . . . . . does your hair feel crispy after you have done a wash and go and not washed the Tresemme out? I know in the video you said it was crispy once it dried - does it stay that way the next day? If it is crispy do you leave it like that or do you do something to combat that?
Thanks x

Could you please go over your detangling process? I find detangling to be the most challenging part of being natural. Detangling incorrectly causes so much frustration and damage! It's really helpful to know how naturalistas who are retaining length go through the process. It's even better to see a video (if you have the chance).
