it is actually harder to play alot of the really hard songs on guitar hero like freebird, through the fire, and ONE than it is on a real guitar. plenty of people i know that play real guitar have agreed with me that although not all songs are harder to play on guitar hero, there are certain songs and parts of songs that are harder than real guitar.

On guitar hero if you fuck up it just automatically goes silent and makes like a ticking sound. On real guitar, if you hit a fret too low, you can bend it up a half step, or slide into it, etc etc.
