Road Trains dont even get near cities. They are used in Remote areas of Australia, Canada and in some states. I see them in western New York. Double 53' trailers. In Ontario you see smaller Road trains in the cities ( double 30ft. trailers). They normally drive on the 401, since it's a straight stretch of highway.
I to also drive a "Small" 53 foot tanker in the USA and that is impressive! I would love to drive something like that someday. I thought checking 18 tires, (I don't run super singles) was a pain at times I would hate to to 86 tires (21 load axles running tandems = 84 plus the steer 2 is 86 tires)!
In Western Australia you have 9 tonn on the steer axle and 20 tonn on the tris. Here there are 7 tri axle groups wich is 7 X 20 tonn = 140 tonn plus the 6 tonn on the steer axle is a total of 146 tonn which is 321,600 lbs (pounds).
That is the best overtaking footage I have ever seen especially with an A-B Quad road train. I think it is a "Mack Super Titan". In Australia the first two trailers are a "B Double" combination(Similar to Canadian "B-train) then towing 2 full length trailers with tri axle dolleys. This footage would almost cetainly have been shot on the Stuart Highway between Darwin and Alice Springs. The big quad and triple road trains are only seen in remote northern Australia.
That's real alright, I only pull 2 tanks myself because I drive through residential areas (the law), but as pumper8032 said, they do track really, really well.

大型+牽引免許を持ってて国際免許の申請をすればその国で乗れます。
ま、日本国内では(私有地を除き)法律での牽引とはトラクターヘッド(またはトラック)とトレーラーの計2台まで・・・しかつなげられませんが。

DuelistKING 4 years ago
Well, the truck certainly isn't running on it's payload, since the load is probably motor gasoline. Real engines don't have spark plugs.
