next time move the barrel or the location of the initial hive... 2 metters....and in the old location of the fisrt hive installe the new hive where u want to transfer the bees...that way you will get all the bees came from the field...!!!!!

  • Anybody else find themselves incessantly itching?

  • 1:54 hahaha the bees trying t sting the camera

  • This is really fucking cool.

  • I had a fly land on me while watching this video, and I nearly crapped my pants. Guess I'm not ready to be a beekeeper ;)

  • honeyyyy

  • what are you using to heat the knife? just a lighter or something? or some kinda torch?

  • @IamLukeSilz92 smoker

  • i know what was in the barrel..... alot of bees...

  • why am i watching bee videos at 1 in the morning????o_0

  • why not wode barrels

  • You should have left the barrel top with the hive on the floor, taken the barrel and cleaned it out, then gone back, put the lid with the hive back over it, and taken it with you

  • the buzzing is scaring me

  • @Bandtx they're bees what do you expect?

  • @MW2noobssuck wait a second.. my post was "the buzzing is scaring me" and you respond with "they're bees what do you expect?" .. That doesn't make sense.. I'm stating my thoughts on the buzzing and you're telling me what do I expect from bees? Obviously bees buzz but the point is not that they do, the point is that the buzzing whenever they get close to the mic scares me.

  • i think they wanna sting u now hahaha

  • why cant you kill these dangerous things?

  • @floridaman2000 they're not africanized bees they are normal bees... much less agressive, so he puts the hive in a container, that way he can have a other bee hive in his hive farm

  • @swisscowboy313

What you said. Bees are vital to crop pollination, and they just happen to also make honey as a delicious side product. Destroying a Hornet or Wasp Hive would be pest control, destroying a Honeybee Hive when Bee populations are in Jeapardy would just bee stupid.

  • I have another question. Who was the first beekeeper who discovered that burning pine needles pacified the bees so well? Seems like something that would be found by crazy luck and totally by accident, but I can't imagine how the person who found this out went about discovering it. Probably an ancient trick, though, going back thousands of years to original beekeepers.

  • 0:55 How does your knife just cut through the comb so easily like that? Is it heated or something, or is there comb just that soft? I thought it would be way, way harder to cut right through like that. It just slides right on by like you were cutting butter instead of pulp.

  • @TheRoomy He says he heats it. Notice how he sometimes says nice and hot.

  • why wouldnt you just fucking throw that thing on the ground and kill it with piss?

  • it's like surgery

  • Free Honey.Be Greatful

  • that's a nightmare!
