I LOVE fresh homegrown turkeys. We raised some a few years ago that tasted incredible. The one we had for Thanksgiving had to be put on the bottom rack and scraped the top of the oven going in! I feel sorry for the folks that can't appreciate the normal cycle of how food is raised and butchered and prepared for the home table. Our turkeys had quality of life and they were so tasty. It was a mutually respectful relationship that we had. :-)
