Her Tony performance sucked, but I sat up a little straighter in my seat when she came on stage when I saw ALNM, and I'm not star struck by her. She was good.

to all the critics here who did not vote for the award winners, Catherine did not ask to be in ALNM, it might not have been produced if she had not accepted the part. there are always actors nominated who are superb, and I'm sure Catherine and her parents were thrilled that she was nominated and showed their support. Catherine is happy with her life and family,and props to her for showing up 8 performances a week and being so appreciative of her welcome to Broadway!

They walk around barefoot. They got big nasty feet, big huge green veins. Plus, they leave sweet marks on the floor. One girl has pretty smooth skins, clear coat nail polish

I do like her, quite a bit, but am always unsure about her sincerity. I mean, like when she won, was that reaction for our benefit? If you want to see a great take on her, youtube 'Dawn French, Catherine Zeta Jones", as it is hysterical (French is 1/2 of the French and Saunders team in the UK. I will wait to see it with Bernadette Peters, the Sondheim interpreter of our age. I am glad for her, though and will not judge too harshly. After all, who am I to criticize?

just to add that Caherine is also appreciative of her chance to work with and learn from the amazing Angela Lansbury! Don't understand why others in the show were not nominated, Alex Hanson et al, great performances, but good for Catherine! I loved her Desiree. Congrats to all the nominees, but the best win the Tony.

to all the critics here who did not vote for the award winners, Catherine did not ask to be in ALNM, it might not have been produced if she had not accepted the part. there are always actors nominated who are superb, and I'm sure Catherine and her parents were thrilled that she was nominated and showed their support. Catherine is happy with her life and family,and props to her for showing up 8 performances a week and being so appreciative of her welcome to Broadway!
