@ReneUhlver it's sad, i've been following this band for a very long time now. and its a great loss. I believe he left the band due to throat problems/vocal cords.i think you could hear it on some of his last live recordings.

No your not going crazy...these are definatley a different mix.

The debut was released in early 2008 and re-issued same year as a tour edition. It was then given away free as a bonus disc with the UK edition of Freedom Rock. There are slight differences between the 2008 version and the 2010 bonus disc. HOWEVER, this is a different mix again!!!

I'm wondering if there is a earlier version of the debut that had an initial mix, that was tweaked! In either case..NOT the same as my CD!
