For everyone saying that this is the worst gun ever just from this video, his tank ran out right near the end, cyclones are gas powered so for the last 50 shots don't really feed that great. And he is using reballs, which are a lot heavier, and put more strain on the loader no matter what it is, and they are rubber, no slippery oily like paintballs so don't slide as well. A cyclone works on balls being slided into the chamber. I never have any problems with my cyclone he should do a paint test.
It's is shooting Reball... if you run reball through a dye rotor/DM11 you're gonna have issues too... that's the nature of reball. That is why they did a test specifically for reball. Honestly the best luck I have had with reball is a gravity fed hopper. Just gotta shake it... hence why I don't play reball all too much... just when I am getting the winter blues and the fields are snow covered.

A quick look at the trigger assembly and you can get the A5 shooting this fast (maybe faster, can't quite work out the actual fire rate, should be round about 35 bps). Obviously you have to so more that look at the assembly but it's really not too difficult to work out. I play woodsball primarily and, as fun as rapid fire is, it's normally unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, the first time i used rapid fire i wasted about 1000 paintballs into the trees around my friends and it fun but expensive :P

I was driving to DDay with my cousins and my cousins 98 custom bounced out of the back of the truck when we hit a small bump on the highway and flew out and hit the pavement while going a 140. @DEMONPLAYER101 as much as i hate tippmanns, the cyclone feed is GENIUS! but really, it comes down to what you play... the cyclone works with the gun's cycle (its connected to it) so it feeds when it shoots. BUT, sticks way out to the side, making it a huge target in speed ball... more practical for scenario play. an electric force feed can be used with a vertical feed, so all you have to do is tilt the gun slightly, and its outa the way.. but its a stand alone system that has to sense the shots

i just got a new 2011 tippmann a5 and every time i want to manually pump my cyclone rod, it doesnt make the paddle move, its like its jammed by something and i dont know what, help any1?

tippmann guns operate at around 850 psi why are you only at 700? thats probibly why the cyclone was having so much trouble

mcivort I can't believe how stupid an arguement that is below. Some people like woodsball for the realism And the athleticism they need to haul ass acrossed a field of trees. Woodsball has their variety of big events like DDay or Black Hawk down. I personally like woodsball better than XBall or Air Ball, but some people like the fast pace and agility in those types of games.

dont use reballs on a cyclone feed. reballs arent flexible enough. Maybe with soft paddles, but generally, just go with ordinary paints

Tippmann is terrible, they jam like a mother fucker,all of the upgrades are plastic, they don't shoot worth a shit, they are very poorly designed and manufactured and they are UGLY AS FUCK!Every tippmann has the exact same internals,with different bodies.Speedball guns such as: Planet Eclipse, Dye, Dangerous Power, etc.Only have some simple problems because there are more technologicaly advanced components that can be messed up.However Tippmanns and other woodsball brake more anyway!So suck it!

@mcivort I like both ways, and I'll admit Speedball is a lot more fast paced but that doesn't mean that Woodsball doesn't require strategy and team work! I personally like Woodsball because more people play it and it isn't professional and I can wear bdus and camo without looking stupid on the Speedball field. And who cares how many bps you can shoot? I can use the X7 Phenom on the Speedball field and it will compete against lets say a Mini... And everyone plays Paintball, not just fat people...

The ONLY issues I have ever had with my guns was when I cross-threaded my barrel threads. Luckily I fixed that for about $8, what would that cost on a Speed-ball gun? That's what I thought. Just because I play woods-ball, means I'm fat now? I'd love to see you survive my team's 24-hour scenario matches. Since you hate Tippmann so much, why would you even bother watching?

@DEMONPLAYER101 as much as i hate tippmanns, the cyclone feed is GENIUS! but really, it comes down to what you play... the cyclone works with the gun's cycle (its connected to it) so it feeds when it shoots. BUT, sticks way out to the side, making it a huge target in speed ball... more practical for scenario play. an electric force feed can be used with a vertical feed, so all you have to do is tilt the gun slightly, and its outa the way.. but its a stand alone system that has to sense the shots
