everyone here is dumb. your supposed to boil lobsters alive. if you kill it before cooking it, it basically self-destructs, releasing chemicals to decompose their insides. by boiling them alive, the process is stunned. for future reference though, put the lobster in the freezer for about 20 minutes or rub between their eyes to put them to sleep beforehand. when awake, they could get scared and get their adrenaline pumping. this might make the meat taste bad.
