I believe that with vertical separation, wich the minimum is 300mts (1000ft), the horizontal separation can be 0 (one plane can go above or under other plane). În this case I think the distance will be around 500mts, no more then that. I could see the ID number on the tail (well just a blur, but still...) ;-)

Note that if two aircraft occupy the same flight level and both are under radar control, then minimum horizontal separation shall be 5.6Km (3nm).
