I had that problem too but its very easy to remove i just pressed and holded CTRL+ALT+DELETE and virus get stuck, removed process and deleted programm, then restarted computer! :)

I wish it was this easy. After restarting my computer in safe mode it could no longer detect wifi or any Internet even after pluging it into the cable modem. My iPhone still connects to wifi just fine :(

bastard daars of this program, this is actually simple to fix it :

go to start menu - program file - accesories - system tools - system restore, wait a system restore running for a while, then restart soon. hope it helps

Unfortunately I'm still experiencing problems with the System Tools virus. I have run three scans with Malwarebytes - none of which have found the System Tools virus on my pc. I have also run avast! It doesn't find any viruses.

At one point the System Tools virus kicked in and I managed to run 'Task Manager' (I couldn't do this previously) in order to shut the virus down.

Apart from not getting rid of the virus, I have no idea how to locate the virus on my pc.

delete this but recommended to do an antivirus scan

I had to startup in normal mode in the end, and quickly stop the system tool processes from running in task manager as the malware i downloaded needed an update & of course - internet wouldn't work in safe mode. Updated malware, deleted the sucker - she's all sweet now.
