I agree with Sophie that major labels are going about it the wrong way, but I don't ever expect them to see the light. Countless consumers have told them what they're doing wrong, but these labels are set in their ways, even if it means their own extinction. I honestly expect UMG Music, A&M, Sony, and others to crash and burn in the future, and then be bought by independent labels. That's exactly the road they're headed down.

but as a true independent artist, how in the world can you trust an artist that was on a major label before? They obviously have more connections and they sold out to satan in order to even get on the major label....how can you trust them? Yes Susan is talented, but, how do I know that sony is still not behind her, fooling the public that she is independent when she really isn't? Think about it.
