  • would have been even more epic if justin bieber had co-starred.

  • look how gorgeous and long his hair is ....WOW

  • If they've these deleted scenes on DVD,I want it.

  • Can you buy the 4hour movie. ? Going to buy the long version. I was so moved by this movie all my life I feel like I never fit in. I think we treated the Indians poorly taken the land away to only have us tear it down building and building .I feel at peace in the woods. Wish I could talk to a true Indian ,. I felt this way all my life and wonder if I have Indian blood .

  • The Longer Version of Dances with Wolves is much better...IT fills in the big holes in the 2:25 version. The 3 hour plus version..much better...

  • Yes, I believe this is very near Jackson, Wyo. You can see Mt. Moran in the right side of the scene. It's the mountain with the flattish top. The mountain scene, combined with the slow flow of the Snake River and the golden early Autumn Aspens in the valley, make this scene absolutely spectacular.

  • My favorite film, i wonder how long it would have been with all the deleted scenes?

  • @sard37 the original version was over 4 hours long before costner trimmed it down

  • @wtfman013 Thats one long film, i would have still watched it though lol

  • Well... we did take there land from them....BUT !!! They aer getting back from the white man!!! With revinue from there casinos !!!! Am I right !!!??????

  • @grandephil not really, it doesn't go as far as you'd think and it could never compensate what we have stolen from them.

  • This scene is so sad but portrays white people so very well. We in general have little understanding or respect for the earth and all it's creatures, spreading like a disease over the planet destroying everything that stands in our way. I'm so sad for any people of the earth who suffered our invasion

  • i feel bad for native Americans they are such great people wiht great culture

  • i feel bad for native Americans

  • All these deleted scenes are on my DVD.

  • This definitely looks like the 'Grand Teton National Park' Range & Snake River in Wyoming, directly south of Yellowstone. If you haven't been there, make it a point of going. If you have no ties at home, sell everything you can't bring in a car and go out there-you won't want to come back!

  • @braxtonantoine LOL! That's almost EXACTLY just what I did! And yes, it is GTNP or the adjoining National Forest. It also apears to be very close to my old stomping grounds, the Triangle X Guest Ranch. Check it out!

  • @FireHeart217 (Nice name) Wow, beautiful ranch-did you work there? How long if so & why did you leave? Are you still out west? I was in Vermont for 11 years and will be back next yr I believe-LOVE THE COUNTRY, great life, simple & NO STRESS!

  • there could be a translation?

  • remember I cried for ages when i saw them shot the wolf :'(

  • Graham Greene is magnificent!

  • THE Directors cut is much better...in explaining the situation at the Fort...and the added scenes of the Indians...THIS version should of been on the movie screen...but Costner and the studios were nervous about the length...and would audiences stand for it...THE LONGER VERSION IS MUCH BETTER...A beautiful film...

  • The deleted scens are so powerful. I was so happy when I saw the director's cut of this film. Gave me an even greater respect.

  • I believe you are on the path of a true human being

  • That scene shows more without words ...

  • one of the best film ever made

  • My thoughts exactly.

  • well done
