why in the hell is this guy in Dimmu Borgir? I respect the fuck out of Galder, but I fuckin despise Dimmu, they play the worst brand of metal imaginable, even worse than Gothenburg metal. Lose Dimmu, the fucking laughing stock of modern black metal, and stop playing fruity ass symphonic black metal, and start coming up with more shit like this.

Symphonic black is not bad in itself, it's just Dimmu that's not very good with it. They're mediocre and uninspired, though even In Sorte Diaboli had some decent songs on it. Abrahadabra not so much. This stuff is much better, obviously. Oh, and don't be dissing on my Gothenburg metal (or melodeath in general).

You should say, that only the last two albums were made by Galder himself and a random drummer. They have been on tour in the past. But, as long as Galder will play the lead guitar at Dimmu Borgir, I don´t think he will look for a band lineup to tour with...

@mikkeman6665 I think Galder does some serious studio magic with the OMC vocals. I mean, they are badass, and personally, I like it way more than Dimmu, but I seen a live video (of OMC) and I cant say he matches in that aspect. Besides that, Dimmu is probably too busy most of the time.

Dude this band has been around since the 90's.... it is and always has been satan's hammer... no where near deathcore... the genre isn't as important as the music itself. omc is quite possibly STILL my favorite band!

It's not about confusing genres. People wouldn't get as pissed off if someone called it blackened death metal or even melodic death metal. Deathcore is something different, calling good music deathcore is like spitting in the fan's face.
