Set your desired chat on HOLD status. It only looks split because the chat types are being held on the log before being wiped off to give you time to actually read it. Go to Chat Filters options and put linkshell and party chat on hold, they are most helpful.

It's mainly because mages are the ones doing the recording often. It's rare to have anyone on the front lines willing to (a)lag their system and (b) find some relevant angle that doesn't have you staring at a close-up of the mob.

also, i play World of Warcraft. The intensity of the fights in the game has a lot of effects and stuff making it look like there's a lot going on in a short time span, maybe that's why it looks bland to me.
FF11 is just better than WoW ,, I have played both competitively and the result is SE doesnt ruin a game while blizzard does. FF11 is way harder and tougher,, and requires alot more than "gear" and the fights that u see in videos looks sure boring and u wouldnt understand the way they are killing bosses simply and u cant imitate them easily, it requires much much more than WoW ... besides check a video for a guild called Millennium, they have a good video posted of them killing every boss

Lol nothing about WoW is hard. all the strategy is very simplistic, generate hate heal don't steal hate. I very much doupt that if you took a skilled wow raid group and gave them geared 75s in FFXI that they'd even be able to down one of the easier mobs like Fafnir.
Yes WoW is flashy and is made for a young audience. High end raiding is not hard in WoW. You get 1) addons to hint at when things are going to happen so prepare, 2) you know exact percentages when a boss will use a special move, 3) tanks have no chance of losing aggro. Maybe the Pandemonium Warden is not blowing up pieces of the room or making you move out of a spawn, but there is way more strategy involved in killing mobs in ffxi, if you even gain the claim.
lol at least wow is real time.. besides it sounds like you haven't played it recently or at all... it's way more complex then this crap, the controls suck, the visuals suck, the ui sucks.. I could go on. I love FF, but this is as lame as it could get... they were better off using their RPG format for combat. I stopped playing WoW in January, after 2 months, having nothing left to do in the game. It was the easiest RPG I've ever played. And you call it complicated? I don't see what is complicated about setting attacks and macros to the numbers on your keyboard then pressing them while aiming with a mouse, it was easy for me.
It's more complicated then most other MMOS, have you ever played high end PVP? I'll be the first to admit raiding can be easy if you aren't retarded, though some fights are pretty wicked hard, especially some of the later ulduar hard mode bosses. Though like you I've since quit. It's just my opinion after browsing about 10 vids of this MMO that I think it looks weak.

You can gear out a toon in Wow in a matter of months.... and when they release a patch or expansion... its all garbage. FFXI actually takes time and effort to gear a toon well, and once you do for the most part each piece of gear is always going to be useful in some situation. New content in FF never completely overshadows older shit .

in final fantasy xi it is some what typical for some shells to bring along "reserve troops" like this for these kinds of fights. the warden is also spawned in an area that any one can access. so its not uncommon to have a couple people rubber knecking around the fight area.
pw is currently the big badass but killable mob of ffxi.
at least, despite being compared to AV, this monster is beatable. It just takes a good number of people and some fast thinking. beating him in 2 hours is a challenge, but apathy proved it was doable. They just took certain precautions to insure not to wipe. Good for them, gratz apathy

Apparently some LS attempted to beat the damn thing for 18 hours and gave up when members began to puke and/or pass out from exhaustion and staring at the screen for so long.
whats happening is ppl wiping to milion mob that are being spawned by a main big monster known as pandemonum warden that has 8 forms,, each with the health of the strongests monsters of the game

But its a fun fight which ff is all about having, it is confusing you just have alot of things going on once u need to be able to handle.
Whats happening in this video is there 10 diff forms u fight with a series of adds
1 HNM 8 helpers u fight 8 diffrent forms that pop 8 adds each.
